Polymembrane Report

The poly membrane Cold Roof Layover maintenance system is installed by encapsulating a highly elongation rated poly membrane between 2 layers of a resin rich sealant. This non-petroleum 3 tiered application dries into a monolithic form. Based on this reality it is, therefore, impervious to ponded water and if properly maintained with a quality elastomeric every 5 years, will provide a problem-free seal for a minimum of 20 years.

I have used Roof Coating Specialist, Inc. twice now. The first time was when we had our home's roof re-coated for the first time. We got three estimates and RCS had the best price so we went with them. They did such a great job that it wasn't until now (7 1/2 years later) that we needed to get it coated again.

This business is great to work with! I had a 17 year old roof that was flat and had never had any kind of white or reflective coating, I honestly had not realized it (never been on the roof) but when I saw an overhead view of my neighborhood, mine was one of the only black ones. It made me realize I was probably not getting as good of a energy savings as I could have been, not to mention the wear on it! This neighborhood was a "TEP guarantee home" so you would think...
Anyway, called about 7 or 8 vendors to get estimates and of course got varying opinions and quotes from sealing to total replacement

These guys were great. They were the most affordable out of the quotes we got to coat our roof, and it came with a 5 year warranty. They also fixed our cracked skylights. When the kind of skylight they brought didn't fit, they came back the next business day and installed the correct ones with no hassle to us. We're very happy with their work.

Roof Coating Specialist's team did a great job. They prepared the roof with a proper cleaning, and then repaired all of the damaged and/or depressed areas with mesh then roof coating, then trimmed and coated the remainder of the multiple areas of flat roof. They worked around our solar panels very nicely. We had to have our pool solar heaters removed to allow recoating, and Roof Coating Specialist returned to complete the job. We are very happy and recommend Roof Coating Specialist highly!

This is the second time we have used RCS for coating our flat roofs. This time we also used them to replace our 4 bathroom skylight lenses. I knew they were original from the 80s and fogged over. Our bathrooms are so bright now it is fantastic! RCS again did a great job in coating our roofs. The first time we used them (5 years ago) the same day of initial inspection they performed emergency coating to stop a leak at no extra emergency charge. They provide a 5 year leak free warranty and are extremely well priced. The guys who did the work are well mannered and considerate. We will be calling in
