Every pool owner at one time or another has done battle with pool algae. Algae can enter the water through wind, rain, landscape debris or even contaminated equipment and swim suits. When conditions are right: warm water, sunlight, poor chemistry, inadequate circulation or filtration, algae can seemingly appear over night.

Pool Filter Cleaning Report

As your pool water circulates, it runs through the pool filter, which removes all the dirt, grime, and bacteria from the water. And, just like the A/C filter in your home or the air filter in your car, your pool filter gets dirty while performing its job. When the filter gets too dirty, water passing through it picks up some of that dirt and grime, carrying it right back into your pool.

Acid Wash Report

Stains from algae and other organic matter make a pool look unsanitary even when it isn't. An acid wash makes plaster and Pebble Tech pools look new again. It is a highly effective treatment for algae stains on both pool types, and mineral stains on Pebble Tech walls. However, an acid wash is not a solution for mineral stains at the water line, which require a different type of cleaning.

Pool Service Gilbert does an adequate job of weekly maintenance; however, they have raised their prices four times in the last year (From $95 to $100 to $110 and just now $130 since August 2020) that is definitely excessive. I know there has been an increase in the cost of chlorine but not enough to account for this large increase.

Worst company ever and overpriced for repairs needed. Sent an email which I don’t check regularly and my pool turned green. These guys couldn’t even give me the courtesy of a phone call. Apparently they can’t handle a 5 foot play pool that’s hardly used. Couldn’t even give me a courtesy call to let me know. Really? Very unprofessional. Stay away from this company. Too scared to make a phone call there, Terrence? Isn’t it your job to have people clean pools? Don’t recommend.

Phil came out to our new home for the “pool school” as I’m a new pool owner. Showed me how to clean the filter and took apart and fixed our pool vacuum that was assembled incorrectly. He was very knowledgeable. Leslie’s pool guys previously told us we had to drain our pool this season. Phil tested our water and assured us that everything was fine even though it was green.
He gave us basic instructions on how to take care of Arizona pools during the heat. I used to live in CT so I had no clue! After a few days of super shock treatment and cleaning the filter daily, it was crystal clear
