Recently purchased a vehicle from Robert the experience was seamless and straightforward. They made arrangements to bring the car to my mechanic for me and made all the suggested changes no questions asked. This was a very stress free car buying experience and would recommend anyone to go there. Just purchased a 2012 Hyundai Genesis, couldn't be more happy with how everything went down.

Lol typical ny dealership, financed a GX 470, no dash lights or anything, 2 days passed and it lit up like a Christmas tree, stop erasing warning codes. Also Joe you promised to fix the e brake but didn't and that's fine I got a mechanic to do that. Also whoever is looking at their cars, beware most of them are broken and they definitely erasing warning dash lights on all of their cars. 1 star for their patients, the rest 4 you don't deserve.

I purchased two cars from Shane, he and the other employees are very nice, knowledgeable and go out of their way to help. I had a few issues after my 30 day warranty through performance was up and they still went out of their way to help me. I never felt pressured or rushed as they definitely wanted the best car for me no matter where I got it

Shane provided arguably the most pleasant purchase experience I have ever had with a car dealership. I was coming from out of state for a specific manual-spec car. He was patient to text back and forth with me over a week, and to work with a family member who lived near by to preview for me. After I felt comfortable we negotiated a very fair price and he took a deposit over the phone. When I arrived the car and paperwork were all waiting for me, the car was in the showroom and looked brand new. Shane is unassuming and trustworthy- 5 stars!

Shane would not delete my daughter's driver's license (which he requested to hold a car) from his phone in front of us as we requested. That was very underhanded.
He didn't want to show us the Carfax for the car we were interested in. When we insisted, we discovered the car was in an accident and it has 2 prior owners and was not serviced by its recommended dealer.
From.my experience, my advice is approach with caution and request written proof of anything he says, as his credibility appears sparse and maybe even non existent.

I was driving my car on Sunrise Hwy and got a flat tire unfortunately, but was able to pull onto the service road and find “Performance Auto”. Shane and the guys there were so sweet and let me know although they are not a repair shop, they would help me out since I had a flat and was on my way to work. Someone quickly put my spare on my car for me and told me they could match my tire if I wanted to get it fixed there even though they normally only deal with their own customers and not the public. I came back the next day, and it was ordered and done in one day. I am super thankful!!

I recently purchase a 2006 Porsche Carrera 4S Convertible from Performance Auto and could not have been happier with the experience. Being in NJ I had to rely on Shane to answer a lot of questions and get the car to a local Porsche shop for a PPI and he handled it all quickly and professionally. They did work to the car for me as a result of the PPI and even did a couple of small extra jobs for free. They accommodated any request I had as best they could and certainly to my complete satisfaction. There was no nickel and diming for fees or splitting hairs over work performed. I was nervous

I had the best experience buying my first car at Performance Auto (and I'm in my 30s...). Sean was patient, kind, helpful and was phenomenally service-oriented. They went out of their way to provide great service (ie picking me up from the train, answering all of my questions, taking the car to the manufacturer to have the recalls closed out, etc), and were phenomenally easy to work with.
Their pricing was transparent - they do not charge any of the hidden fees that other used car dealers typically surprise you with - and negotiating with them was fair and fact based.

Just another scummy used car lot. These knuckleheads get me to come down /from Massachusetts!/ at substantial personal expense to see a BMW they claim has no mechanical problems and has had no cosmetic work. Show up and find one of the most beat-up examples I've ever seen. Take it to a garage for a pre-purchase inspection and they find oil leaks, throwing codes, transmission issues, body & paint work, the whole nine yards. Big fat waste of my time, either be honest about what you're selling or don't buy lemons at auction and try to pass them off as being in great condition.

Performance auto is the real deal. They work with you to get you into the car you want. They're courteous, helpful and willing to go above and beyond. There is no bait and switch, the car I saw on their website was the car I drove off the lot with! The General Manager Rob is the best, he gives it to you straight and makes sure you leave happy.

I went there to look at the HUMMER they have, I spent 3 hours looking over the truck, it had a few problems with it, he told me to write down anything wrong with it and he will fix it ALL until it is the truck I want. WOW, NOW THATS SERVICE! They didn't even hesitate to making me a happy customer. I put the deposit down ($100) and they started doing all the repairs, Unfortunately I didn't get the cash and couldn't buy the car, but would buy and trust them 100%.
