Overall a horrible experience. I went into Ideal Motors needing a car, and didn't end up leaving with one due to the pushiness and unprofessionalism of Rich the salesmen and their financial personnel. The dealership in general is very sketchy. They provided me with a FAKE CARFAX!!! I purchased a Carfax of my own for the car I was interested in buying. The document stated that the vehicle was in an ACCIDENT last October and had damage to the front and rear. But the Carfax they provided me, was TOTALLY CLEAN, and had NO ACCIDENTS reported. I bought my 2012 Honda civic here in 2017, and they were helpful all the way through the process. The price was fair and negotiations were straightforward. They let me take the test drive without a salesman in the car, which I find relaxing. I wanted to have my own (local) mechanic check it out, and they even drove the car back and forth to accomodate that. (Caveat- I don't think they would do this for a mechanic further away. Terrible experience. I saw a car advertised on Cars.com listed for $13,880. I went in to test drive the car and was only allowed to take it down one road. Salesmen told me he didn't know where we were and told me to turn around when I get a chance. I live in the area and know EXACTLY where I wanted to go - down a highway to get a feel for the car. I didn't even get the car up to 50 mpg bc we were in a residential area. Was not allowed to take it on the highway. Purchased a used 2015 Jeep Cherokee from Ideal Motors in Medford for a price of $16,500. A surprisingly good deal. During a test drive the tire pressure sensor light was on. in final negotiations over the vehicle the service light was discussed and I was assured that it would be covered by warranty and I could take it to my local Jeep Dealer rather than wait for them to "send it to the jeep dealer for repair." Got bad news today, transmission is out, needs a new one. These guys knew it and hid it with a plate that hid diagnostics. I am filing a complaint with the better business bureau and consumer affairs. My lawyer asked around, about this company and all he heard was horror stories. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE TO SPEND YOUR MONEY.
These guys are rude, flim flam men. Shady from the start. Had big problem with a car I bought, at the start, I felt something was wrong so they sent it to their shop to get the problem solved. It took a couple of days and then they said it was fixed. Then transmission fluid

I really like supporting local, small businesses, that being said this is not one anyone should go to. These guys live up to every terrible stereotype about used car salesmen. Shady, shady, shady. The prices on their website are not always the actual price they charge. Sometimes they charge almost 3000$ more, but not always, taking advantage of ambiguous language in the fine print on their website. Had a terrible experience with these guys, saying one thing, then doing something else. I do believe there are honesty small pre owned car dealerships locally, this isn't one of them. Absolutely

Very difficult to deal with, changed the price on thursday when I had the certified check. Classic used car salesman techniques you read about. Do not go near this place!! They are not what they say they are. They tried to sell us a car with no tread on the tires. They insisted we do a credit application. We did just to see where credit standing was from their persoective. We gave them a 250 deposit. They wanted 500. We didn't sign anything saying we were taking vehicle, and they aretrying to process our depisit. Do not purchase a red Chevy Equinox 2008. It has bald tires, tight steering wheel!! Stay away from this place!!! They are crooks!!!!
