We had Moses come out to check our LG refridgerayor/freezer as we came home from a long weekend and there was a loud buzzing noise coming from the unit. Moses called me back as soon as he was available to speak. He was very honest about potentially being prepared for the worse. When he showed up he was polite and insightful. He did every check of the fridge that was necessary and was very honest stating there was nothing to fix and he was able to explain what might have happened to cause the noise. We thought it was our compressor and had stated that to.Moses. he could have gone with that and told

The fridge tricked me: seemed like it had to be working.
The light still came on with door opened
Fan and compressor in back also sounded normal
And freezer was still cold
But after a couple of days it became obvious that the fridge was not cool at all.
Gotta do something quick now
Call Appliance Smart and he was able to make it out later that day.
He diagnosed the problem with a relay / timer failed that would normally do a defrost cycle periodically. So no defrost cycle means ice accumulates in the wrong place and eventually no cold air goes to fridge. He immediately did a manual defrost

Avoid. I was charged $150 for the estimate and when estimate arrived it was inflated to a point where a new stove was less than the repair. An honest repair man would say "hey, you need a new stove, I will charge you less for the estimate... etc.". This company just collects estimate $ and have no intention to do any work or know how to do any repairs...

I only left one star because you can't leave no stars! This should be a no star review. We paid a $100 deposit for a part after the initial visit to repair our refrigerator. When the second visit to install the part was scheduled, the roads were being paved and Moses refused to drive down our street despite our arranging for access by the police officer supervising the paving work. His excuse was that he "didn't want to get a ticket." He wouldn't allow us to meet him at the corner and speak to the police officer, he refused to speak to the police officer. He just said

My oven stopped heating right before the holidays. I searched on homeadvisor and found Appliance Smart Repair and gave them a call. I honestly thought I was going to have to replace the oven or pay a large sum but Moses was able to fix it and at a reasonable price. This was over a year ago and my oven has been working with no problems whatsoever!

I highly recommend Moses and Appliance Smart Repair. He recently repaired our fridge...everything about that transaction was five star. The appointment was handled by Elizabeth who was very professional- she asked when and what and "done" we were booked. She followed up to assure us we were booked and on schedule. Moses was absolutely terrific. He quoted a very fair price, and there were no surprises; arrived on time and finished as scheduled. Clean up was perfect. This is what service should always be.

First off they came to take a look at my stove and microwave over a week ago. The guy was here less than 5 minutes and had his kid in the car. I let my landlord know he barely looked at the two things but my landlord hired them. I was told they would come when the parts were in. He gave a window of 3-6pm so I rushed home from work to wait. I waited over 4 hours and finally get a call from Moses that he isn't coming. He claimed he was with another customer and there was bad weather & flash flood warnings. I understand weather but he was only 20 minutes away and could have called

This company has NO integrity! From the scheduler, to the owner & I wish I would have read these reviews before I agreed to schedule an appointment. I would never recommend! I was given a time, and after over an hour of waiting, I called. The owner said he was "running late," but never gave me a courtesy phone call to advise, then said there is usually a "window." Fine, but I did tell him that this was an inconvenience and I wished someone would have called me. He was quickly offended when I told him that I was going to call other companies back, and he said "

Would never recommend this company. The first time they came to look at my stove they were an hour and a half later for the timeframe that they had given me and did not even let me know they would be late until I called them. The second time they were scheduled to come and install the part, they called 10 minutes before the end of the time frame they gave me and told me they were on their way and would be there in 30 minutes. 25 minutes later they call and say they have to do an immediate refrigerator repair and will not be there till 4:00. Absolutely unacceptable in their scheduling.

I tried working with Moses for a repair and had questions about estimates, after quoting me double the price of what everyone else had, I had additional questions and he started screaming at me and told me he didn't want my business and hung up. Extremely unprofessional and wasted my time. If he's this bad over the phone I can't imagine how unreasonable he would be with an actual repair cost, not to mention the initial absurd quote.

Where do I begin?! This guy came to fix our dishwasher contracted by our warranty company. He told us he would be there between 11-2. and showed up at 3:30 after I had to call him and say hey where are you. I should have known then it was a bad sign. He basically came out and we gave him $100 to tell us our dishwasher needed to be replaced and he would inform the warranty company. He never did contact them nor did he return my calls. Here's the story: Mr. Potter gave me an $850 estimate to fix a Jenn Air stove with an ignition problem. I agreed, and it took him quite a number of weeks to find a burner that was needed. He finally came to the house with a white burner that did not match the other three burners on the stove top, which are black. I can't imagine why he thought it might be satisfactory to pay $850 to wind up with a stove that had three black burners and one white one. I was initially very pleased with the work Moses did in fixing my GE microwave oven. Despite being nearly 4 hours late for my first consultation with no notice (I had to call in and ask what the delay was), he was in and out in a half hour for the repair and my microwave was working perfectly. A week later, 9/6/17, it stopped working again with the same issue. I emailed that day, called 9/8/17, called again on 9/20/17 and emailed again on 9/21/17. As of today, 9/25/17, nearly 3 weeks after my first attempt at contact,I have received zero response. While I do not wish to leave a negative review

He also saved me hundreds of dollars by recommending refurbished parts, which I was initially skeptical about. The part -- the entire LED panel -- was still pricey at about $600 -- but it would have been $800 without his connections and suggestions.
The microwave has worked perfectly ever since the repair, and we count on it for many of our on-the-go meals.

If I could give Moses 10 stars I would. He quoted me a price to fix my Wolf microwave. While he was fixing it he saw several more problems. He did not leave my house until he was sure everything was 100%. Instead of being here one hour he was here 3 hours. He wouldn't give up until her was sure everything worked right. I highly recommend him for his honesty, knowledge and reliability. By the way his prices are extremely reasonable.

Highly recommend!!!! Moses( who is the owner himself) came on time and worked around my busy schedule- he knew exactly what the problem with my dryer is as after just 5 minutes- he ordered the parts and had it installed in less than 1/2 an hour! Expert repair and customer service. I was lucky to find them on Thumbtack when our Washing Machine stopped draining. We were contacted promptly, given a fair estimate and scheduled an appointment. Moises came, diagnosed the problem right away and ordered the part right in front of my eyes. We made an appointment for a few days later when the part arrived for him to come back and install it.
