We used JEM as part of a HomeGuard Home Warranty claim for a malfunctioning dishwasher that wouldn't clean, and a refrigerator with a crisper drawer than was not preserving food and was constantly above the set temperature. The first technician came out when only my wife was home. He mansplained to her that everything was working as expected.
I made them send out a different technician the next time, when I was home. I showed him that the plastic parts in the dishwasher had disintegrated, and he quickly found a non-functioning blower in the refrigerator behind the crisper drawer. He said he would

JEM was the second appliance repair company I had come out to look at our fairly new Electrolux washer. It was having trouble draining completely on some cycles. The first repair person suggested I use less detergent and that would clear up my problem (it didn't). JEM made a thorough assessment of our washer and determined the problem to be two items blocking the drain. The repair was quick, effective and professional. I highly recommend JEM!

Very kind and thorough. They were truthful and gave suggestions that was best. We were given some advice to keep up with our dryer. Told us to clear and heating vents that may cause fire or damage to the dryer. He was fast and efficient. I will recommend them to family and friends.

After a not good experience with my Winn refrigerator trying to get a repair I was finally given Gem Appliance as their repair tech, I must say they were just super in getting back to me and their tech showed up the next day right on time, he found the problem but had to clear the repair with Winn, so now the ball is in their court, I am holding my breath.

(Los Altos - service 1/29/21) They diagnosed a problem another company could not (but tried doing several other things that didn't work). Jem diagnosed it in literally 30 seconds, got a part from the truck, were out in 10 minutes. It was a water leak, so not an insignificant issue. I would definitely call them again! And they were properly masked, on time, professional.

Jem Appliance service is very fast. I called to fix our refrigerator and they were there in half an hour. Job done in two hours. Big relief..Thanks for their help. I showed our refrigerator to some other techs. Suggested to replace with new one.. but saved by Jem Appliance technicians. It’s working same as before like a new one. Highly recommended👍

Jose (owner) came over to fix my very sad ice machine. He and his employee entered with their masks on and even asked if they should take their shoes off before entering the house, which I greatly appreciated.
Jose explained why the ice machine stopped working and shared that there is a warranty that comes the product. They were quick and very kind and left no mess behind.
