My oven broke two days before Christmas. Azer was very responsive, even answering his phone after hours. He came the next day and, although the oven can't be repaired due to lack of available parts, he did his best. He tried a temporary repair that didn't work and made sure the secondary oven worked and was safe to use until the unit can be replaced.
I used him once before and will call again if I need repair services.

However, Sam repaired our furnace quickly and efficiently. This was the BEST $95 we've ever spent. Our furnace is 48 years old, and we need to replace it soon; but Sam got us through this time.

Had two separate issues with my 15+ year old dryer at different times, and each time Mike helped me out and was able to fix the issues faster than expected. He walked me through the issues and let me know the solutions and costs -- which are reasonable -- up front.

My 18 year old Maytag oven stopped working a week before Thanksgiving. I priced new stoves and then called Azer repair as they have repaired the electric starters on this stove before. They took the information on the phone and set up an appointment for the following day. Mike came and assessed the situation and found that my ignition switch on the oven was no longer working and quoted me the cost for the part and repair of $310. Spoke with several appliance repair shops in the East Bay and was repeatedly told, "We don't repair microwaves!" YIKES!! I have a built-in unit and was looking at $$$ for a new microwave, trim kit, installation, etc. Then, I found Mike at Azer Appliance. Third time having Azer over to repair things around the house:
1. Nest wasn't turning on the air conditioning. Only the fan was working. He replaced the dual run capacitor & r22 refrigerant.
2. Nest later had some issues with the furnace heater. There was a ticking noise. He replaced the main control board.
3. Refrigerator started making a clicking sound. The freezer was defrosting. He replaced the main control board and replaced a broken condenser fan motor.
Overall, great service and easy to work with! Would highly recommend him to service anything you got broken!

Our refrigerator went out and when we called him he was there in less than 45 mins. Looked at our fridge and said it was a little transformer box. I thought great how long to get the part? He had one on his truck! We were up and running in less than an hour and he vacuumed and cleaned all the vents. I can't say enough good things. They were great. Thank you for saving us from having to buy a new fridge.

Found water leak on the floor from the bottom of my fridge so I got on Yelp and decided to reach out to Azer appliance & HVAC repair due to all the positive reviews. I was able to get a same day appointment but due to prior engagements I scheduled for the next day. Mike came by and repaired my Whirlpool fridge with clogged defrost drain issue. Mike from Azer appliance and hvac repair was the most honest repair person I've met. Our dishwasher at our new place slid out of its slot when we tried to use it for the first time and I had to get an appointment for it to be reinstalled. Mike found that the bottom trim was missing and the person who installed it had done a poor job at installing it.
Mike made sure he made a makeshift installation for me that day and came back the next day with a part to complete the actual installation. Would definitely recommend.

My dryer started making screeching noises. Messaged Azer in the afternoon. He came in the next morning, diagnosed what was wrong, what was needed and upfront with price - which was reasonable.
Fixed the idler pulley. Recommended a few minor gotchas and done in an hour or so. He vacuumed out lint before assembling the dryer back in.
Relevant communication. No pressure-sales recommendations and efficient repair. Highly recommend.

Old Furnace was not heating; read his reviews; paid his service call fee and we determined it the main valve was faulty in that it was letting the pilot light stay on constantly (vs. on demand) as well as open the valve to the main burners. We thought it might be the temperature sensor, but we determined that it was more cost effective to purchase and install a retrofit kit that came with a new valve, sensor, igniter and some additional hardware. It was not cheap and perhaps I could have found the kit for a lower price, but he installed it professionally and validated it was working in a timely

After we realized that our heating was not working, Azer replied to our calling quickly and was able to come to our house on the same day. As our heating unit is in attic, he had no qualm about going up there and was able to resolve it quickly. While he was here, we asked him to service the unit and he did promptly. In the last 2 years, Azer has fixed our dryer, advised us on our dishwasher (it cannot be repaired) and just recently fixed our oven. He is on time, honest, and thorough in his work. This last time, he brought his colleague Alex because the oven required two people. Alex was also on time and thorough. I would not hesitate to recommend Azer to anyone who needs appliance repairs.

In January 2016, our Whirlpool Dryer has been used for more then 15 years and suddenly running without heat. We called Azer for help.
Azer came and repaired the Dryer very professionally and efficiently. He not only repaired the element unit of the Dryer, but also makes extra efforts to make sure other parts are in good shape.
After completing the repair, Azer makes sure the dryer unit is leveled, the venting coil in the back lay smoothly, etc. All things that can help to extend the life of the appliance.
