Our kitchen is over 30 years old and is tired. We contacted Pleasanton Appliance Repair to come look at two appliances that were limping along. This was the second time we have used Pleasanton Appliance Repair because we were impressed when we've used them before. Max came and quietly, studiously worked on both problem areas. In the end, cost of the parts were prohibitive, as these two appliances (freezer, cooktop) are on their last legs, so we did not end up ordering the new parts. My washing machine wouldn't turn on...on a Friday at 7 PM...with dirty cloth diapers in it (insert mommy freak out here). I called Sears and the only available appointment was in a week, so I went on Google to find an alternative. Called Pleasanton Appliance Repair and left a message. Within 3 minutes I got a call back from a lovely gentlemen (on a Friday night past normal hours) that walked me through a few things to check before we made an appointment. Excellent customer service!!! Came to appointment early, prepared, with replacement part in hand. When I reached out to him to tell him my issue, he quickly diagnosed the problem based on my description and instantly gave me a quote. I asked for same day service and he was at my house 2 hours later on a Saturday!. Appointment was made for 2pm even though he typically stops working at 1pm on Saturdays. recently repaired my mom's fridge and leaking washing machine.
he was able to diagnose the non cooling fridge within a minute of checking it out and same goes for the washing machine.
within a few days he came back to repair a faulty fan on the fridge. he did notice the fan upon install wasnt spinning as fast as he expected and advised to monitor cooling over the next day. turns out the fan speed was insufficient so he returned a couple days later to swap out the fan with a stronger one, which seemed

We've used Steve''s Appliance Services twice in about 10 years. My husband can fix a lot of things but when it's been more than he can take on, I've called Steve.
