So, unfortunately things went downhill a little bit. I think he is trying-- He's a good communicator overall, he is easy to get ahold of and generally very knowledgable even when you can tell you are catching him at a bad time. He's definitely not new to the trade, but I as a customer since 2017, I did feel a decline in his customer service in about the last year.
He had some personal stuff going on and I was super patient despite having a clogged pool pump sit for nearly 2 weeks because he couldn't make it out sooner, I was loyal to his service and was understanding---stuff happens

I'm so impressed with my pool services. I had some personal things going on and could not maintain my pool so it turned green and Splash N' Grass was able to restore it and it looks better than ever. This is a wonderful company! They are knowledgeable and professional with great communication skills. I'm also happy with my weekly services. I don't have to ever worry about adding my own chemicals or anything. Their package takes the guess work out of the equation so all I need to do just swim :)

I cannot say enough nice things about Dan. Not only does he do a tremendous job caring for my pool, but he is overall a lovely human being. When work needs done he gives me a heads up ahead of time, so I can anticipate the cost. When I want to add new features or equipment he always gets me the best deal and will tell me when it's on sale or has a rebate. My home in Phoenix was an Airbnb, Dan dealt with the often annoying renters pool questions but also jumped in and plunged a toilet for one of them. If you have a pool and you're using any company for service other than Splash N Grass then you are missing out! We have a short stay rental property in North Scottsdale (we live in California), so having a reliable company to ensure our pool remains sparkling and our pool heater is working in the cooler months can make or break our rental business. We have worked with a number of companies who have been everything from just ok to outright terrible, dishonest and unreliable. Last year our pool heater stopped working and the company who installed and I would like to mention, was being paid

If I could put 0 stars I would. Disrespectful, hard to get ahold of, and overall very unprofessional. I'm not sure if this company is legit or not but shouldn't even be operating if it is. BEWARE ! Don't waste your time! My pool is still green!!

I'm not one to write reviews very often but I just had to comment on the great service I received from Splash N Grass. First, most companies don't work on above ground pools but this company does and Daniel was very knowledgeable on the subject. He had my pool pump up and running in no time flat and his prices are incredibly reasonable. Thank you Daniel for being available, punctual, pleasant, and for having the knowledge to fix all the issues I was experiencing with my above ground pool and pump. I wholeheartedly endorse this company.

We are first time pool owners and had lots of questions and concerns. Daniel came out next day and did a free walkthrough of everything - how our pool was refinished, size, pump, filter, maintenance. He gave me a rundown of what I'd need to buy and look out for. He also had concerns about the sand filter being too small for the pool and piping not being aligned well.

This guy really knows his stuff!! Kind and courteous. I really appreciate Daniel's honesty as well. We just recently moved into a beautiful home that was vacant for quite a while so the pool and waterfalls definitely needed some work. He quickly came over and ran through all the issues and concerns we had and made sure we understood everything that needed to be replaced and how it all worked together. Fair price that can't be beat! He's got my business for life!

Just hire this guy...you will not regret it. I hired Daniel to take my pool from swamp green to swimmable clear in time for a Memorial Day weekend pool party and he did it in short order and at a cost I could afford. I was so pleased I've hired him to do my monthly pool service. I'd done it myself for three years prior to that and we see where that got me...green. No more cloudy water headaches for me!!

Let me start by saying that Daniel is extremely kind, and my pool is unusually large. I think he got in over his head. Between yard remodeling and a dirty filter, my pool was not a 20-minute weekly service call during much of the 8 weeks he worked on our pool.
What I found really disappointing was that instead of him calling or ringing at my door to say he had concerns and needed to raise my monthly rate, he simply sent an email saying he could no longer service my pool. This company is as good as it gets. Daniel is such a great guy with such a great work ethic. He is very honest and such a hard worker that takes pride in what he does. I am so pleased that I was given Daniels name to come out to drain, acid wash and fill our pool. We are new to Arizona and are not really familiar with in ground pools and their needs. Daniel is awesome! Our pool looks like new. He even replaced our pool light! He came out when time was convenient for us and took the extra time to explain our pool system and how it works. That is great business!! From now on Daniel will be the one I call for all our pool needs!

So happy I found Daniel on Yelp! I got a response by sending a message through yelp almost immediately, and he was able to come out the next day. He also gave me a specific time instead of a 4 hour window like most technicians.
My pool was murky and green and I suspected my filter was not working because when I backwashed, the water was clear and not green. When he came out he explained it was probably the sand in the filter, which made sense since I have owned this house for 6 years and have never changed the sand and have no idea the last time.

I recently contacted Daniel looking for a new "Pool Guy"... to service our pool and I AM SO GLAD WE DID!! Daniel came out, assessed the equipment and pool, then got right to work, cleaning and repairing a few minor things. He knows his stuff, at one look he knew exactly what type of in-floor cleaning system we had and how to optimize it. We have already made arrangements for him to come out weekly, to clean and check the water; I love the weekly email updates that include pH levels, Chlorine, Alkalinity and a few others ABOVE my head :)
