As a kid I was always building something, whether it was in the sandbox or with Legos in my bedroom. As I grew up the habit turned to drawing and designing homes on notebooks and graph paper. In high school, drafting and designing classes introduced me to CAD software, and I designed and built a model home.
I attended North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton, where I earned my degree in Architectural Drafting, Design & Estimating. During my time at NDSCS I learned the proper use of building materials and the importance of building codes. I assisted the instructors in incorporating the designing of multi-level homes into the program.
Since college I have spent more than 14 years drafting and designing homes for numerous customers and contractors. My experience includes decks, pole sheds, garages, additions and new homes ranging from 1000 square foot split entry to 13000 square foot luxury homes. I treat every project as if it was my own-very personally.

I have nothing but good things to say about Tony and ADS Designs. Tony is a great communicator and is very knowledgeable. As a contractor it's nice to work with someone who understands and studies building like Tony does. You are getting much more than a set of design prints with Tony, he is able to help with every choice you will need to make when it comes to your home.

We had Tony from ADS Designs, LLC draw our house plans. He did an excellent job with them. We had several changes to make on the drawings after the first draft, and he eagerly made those changes for us. He also made a few recommendations that made sense and we utilized those recommendations in or drawings. He was very responsive and timely with his work! Highly recommended!!

We are first time home builders and were referred to work with Tony at ADS Designs. I couldn't be more happy with the experience. From the initial brainstorming session to conceptualization to final product, Tony has over delivered through it all. We've received many compliments as to how well our floor plan flows from room to room. I really appreciated his knowledge in how the home building process works as well. Can't wait to have it built!

ADS Designs is a member of the the local builders association, CMBA. Owner, Tony Steinemann is a director on our non-profit Board, Home Show committee chair, business owner and family man. He has proven to be a master with time management skills, a cut above. He is skilled at balancing a growing business and volunteering in a leadership role to present major events for the community. My wife Tami and I built our new home this past summer, We met countless people on trying to decide on our design. We met Tony at the CMBA home tour and visited with him and decided to go with him on helping us design our new home. I used Tony at ADS Designs to draw a blue print for a large addition and total home remodel, I had sketched out a few things that I wanted to see as far as the lay out of the house and it was amazing to see how he incorporated those things along with changes that he came up with that really brought the house together in a way that I never could have pictured it myself!
