Allow me to begin by saying, that I had NO idea that a PLUMBER was the professional to call to repair a gas leak. Long story short, we called Lyday Plumbing after smelling a gas leak in our home. The gas company shut off the gas to the entire house for obvious safety reasons. We were without gas heat or the ability to prepare food ( gas range) overnight. Matthew from Lyday Plumbing came out the next day and was able to isolate 3 separate leaks in our crawl space in the lines that lead to our gas fireplace. He shut the gas off to the fireplace in our crawl space so we could at least have the gas

It's interesting you're responding to my review 5 years later, clearly shows you don't care about your customers. We used your company (5 years ago now) and it was a horrible experience. You said you were going to come out and never did. Then you finally came out and didn't fix the problem but charged us anyway. We had to hire another company to fix the problem. Terrible customer service and company. Do not use.

Not professional. Minutes after walking through my door, Andrew with Lyday was asking my age and if I was married or lived with anyone. The leak I was having inspected required access into the attic. He insisted that I should see the attic for myself and offered to put me on his shoulders so I could see into the attic too. Before leaving he told me that I was beautiful and if I ever felt uncomfortable or unsafe that I can request not to see a certain person or company from my warranty company in future events. Great to know! Andrew will not be invited back.

I called this company because they said they were 24 hours (called around 7pm) I had one person tell me they would get back with me but no one ever did. I then received a text message and will post that shortly after . I called back around 10pm because I had no clue who was texting me until I called the phone number from someone else’s phone. They had blocked my number. Haha, if you’re black I strongly suggest not even trying this company

Called plumber on weekend to inspect a slow drain. Was able to come over within 48 hours on my own schedule (after 5:00 pm on a weeknight) to snake and make drain fully functional again. Even though it was full of grease, snaking was done so carefully that none ever ended up on the carpeted floor. Sound advice was given on follow up treatment and the cost was cheaper than many home warranty plans. Would definitely have Brian back to take care of plumbing needs.

So things have obviously changed since the last reviews! last fall the main water line coming from the city water into the house was leaking, after 2 days of digging (trying to fix it myself) I gave up! I called Lyday plumbing on a recommendation from a customer of ours. It was Saturday night and there was snow on the ground below freezing temperatures. The owner actually came over that night and repaired the line!
My neighbor has the same situation going on today, we did most of the digging (again trying to DIY) and couldn't get the fittings to fit, it's Sunday BTW, called Lyday again

I was forced to use Lyday Plumbing because of my home warranty company. They did not pull a work permit, and then did not have their work inspected. Upon further investigation and contacting the city they never did any of that even though I paid them for the permit and inspection. The worst part of it all was I have a huge gaping hole in my basement to replace a sewer line. They did not do the work to code, and left my basement in a huge mess. After all this they essentially said they would refund me $45 for the permit and inspection, as well as pay a plumber to replace some rubber couplings

I called Lyday plumbing a week ago to get a quote to have a Basepump Water-Powered Back-Up Sump Pump installed. The estimates that I had been getting were ranging from $600-$1400. When I spoke to someone on the phone (I don't know his name thought I think it was Brian. I am not sure because he took his business card back when he left my house) I was told that it could be done for $150 - $200 max. I was told that the only way it would be $200 is if he got in there and everything was "all messed up or something". He was quite sure he could do it in a couple hours for $150. I asked
