Just like other things around your house, water pipes have a life cycle and need to be replaced from time to time. As water pipes age, especially galvanized pipes, they need to be replaced because of various reasons like corrosion, pinhole leaks, low water pressure, rusty water, and costly repairs from unexpected busted pipes.
Tankless water heaters are water heaters that will heat water directly, without the use of a storage tank. When a hot water tap is turned on, cold water travels through your pipes into the unit. Depending on the type of your tankless water heater, whether it's electric or gas, it's either electric element or gas burner will heat the water and deliver a constant hot water supply to your shower or faucets.
A single-family storage water heater offers a ready reservoir - from 20 to 80 gallons of hot water. It operates by heating hot water in the tank and releasing it when you turn on your shower or faucets. To replace the used hot water, water from the cold water lines flows through the bottom of the tank and refills the tank.

Ryan and his technician installed a new water heater and removed the old one. All connections were replaced and a new drip pan installed. Install was in the attic. They completed the work on time in only 1-1/2 hrs. Explained the new features and gave maintenance tips. Very professional, clean and exactly as quoted. No surprises! Keep up the good work guys!

My home warranty company arranged for IGD plumbing to come and fix the broken overflow pipe in my toilet. 2 guys came exactly at 10am (Justin and another person), and they did the job very quickly, professionally and cleaned after themselves. Amazing service! They were extremely friendly and polite. It was such a contrast with the guy from another company (Lindsay) who few days before did not know what to do and piled a ton of lies to my home warranty company. What a pleasure to be helped by honest professional people!

IGD were assigned by AHS. I called them by myself on Saturday and did not expected much. To my surprise get response immediately and first available appointment on Monday. At 9:00 am I had Chris Corbett. Very professional. Diagnostic took couple of minutes and to my surprise he had all necessary parts. Therefore fixing disposal were a breeze. He even offered check water heater for free. Left business card and leave the house. I would use their service in the future without hesitation

IGD Plumbing came out to repair a leak in my bathroom sink at the p-trap. They arrived on-time, communicated very well throughout the process and even matched the finish for the sink drain stopper which they weren't required to do...I SO very appreciated that they cared enough to try to do the very best job. They were professional and did a great job on the repair.

Excellent service from these guys. Matt Citron, did an excellent job at communicating the problem I had with my water heater and the time frame it would take to fix it. I highly recommend his service if your looking for someone who’s professional and does a great job with their work. A quick note of thanks for the great service. Two of the nicest guys, Justin and Austin arrived to fix a clogged kitchen sink. We had originally been referred to another company who said they would not be able to be out until Monday, this was Friday. They listened to our issue and was quickly able to diagnose the situation. They were both very courteous and pleasant. While here they provided an estimate on damage incurred during the

I had a hot water installed by IGD in 10/2019 today I noticed a drip coming from the connection from the PC to copper connection on the water supply line. After several phone calls I got a voice mail from IGD. The don't have a opening for 5 days and it will cost a $59 service fee on something that their employee did incorrectly. IGD employee did not do their job correctly causing corrosion and a leak but I need to pay them again and wait 5 days and hope the corroded connection doesn't fail before they make it out to fix their mistake.

This business contracts with my home repair insurance company. My insurance company assigned them the job of repairing my garbage disposal. The woman called me to set up the appointment and told me they could come on a Tuesday and the timeframe would be between 9a-1p. I explained to her I had a dr appointment and could only agree to that timeframe if it's the morning. She told me I'd be the 1st house they go to. So most people would think that means they'd be there @ 9 or 9:30am. Almost 11am and still no sign of them. I call them and no response. I reached out o my insurance company

Had a great experience with the technicians Ryan and Renee. I informed Ryan that my water heater had been out for about a week and that the Mrs. and kids had enough of it lol. After coming out to diagnose for home warranty he prioritized the job and changed it out the next day in less than an hour. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Tyler came out to repair a seal on toilet but started explaining how I needed to replace the flange. HE SAYS THE HOME WARRANTY WILL. OT PAY FOR IT THAT I needed to pay for it. Then explained water will get under the tile to the wood floor...THE FLOOR UNDER THE TILE IS CONCRETE SO THAT CONVERSATION DOES NOT APPLY. I recorded the conversation and took picture of the flange and seal before the so called repair. I knew the flange was worn and yes the Home Warranty will pay for because I called before he arrived. After he replaced the seal, the water leak each time commode

Selected IGD as servicer for American Home Shield warrantee. Didn't anticipate a great experience because prior issues were very problematic. However, our technician was awesome! Chris Corbett was great professional, diagnosed the problem quickly, and solved completely. No messing around. I will go back even outside if warrantee install.
