Frank J. Van Delden began installing septic systems in 1937. He continued building Van Delden Wastewater Systems until his death in 1955. His son, Gary Van Delden, took over the business operations and maintained successful growth for the company until he retired in 1989. Garrett Van Delden was the third generation to run the family business with his wife, Pam.

I just want to say that the guys that came over and serviced my septic tank the first week of July were very professional, courteous, and helpful. They made some suggestions on the way to use the system and gave me some do's and don'ts! We have followed their suggestions and the system is working much better.

Thursday night at 10:00 and the toilet starts to back up. A little examination reveals the septic tank to be the culprit. I left an email and phone message at Van Delden WW Systems. Friday morning at 7:01 I got an email asking me to call for scheduling, which I did. After working all day Friday, Jesse and his crew got here at 4:45 pm. They found the septic tank, dug down to the lid and discovered it was packed. They pumped out 750 gals of waste, cleaned the inside of the tank, checked the drain line, and covered everything up. We needed to have our OSSF Septic Spray Field (sprinklers) redone to accomodate a new swimming pool here in Schertz. Other companies only wanted to put in a much more expensive drip system. Van Delden worked with a (third party) engineer we hired that specilized in septic spray redesigns and Bexar County Environmental Services to get it redesigned and done very quickly! The workers (especially Mike) were both very efficient and professional. They made sure that I was completely satisfied with their work. Performed our five-year septic service. They have an excellent text and email-based confirmation system that includes a photo of the technician, and Jill is always fantastic to work with. Michael was our technician and he's a positive (and funny) person- lots of great stories and personable. We followed their advice five years ago and our system is still running strong.

I needed a septic tank inspection when buying my home, and the sellers provided me their previous inspection from Val Delden, the level of detail on the report was phenomenal! Who else better to inspect it than the people who last did the service. I called for a quote and received a call back from the owner right away. They explained everything to me, and they've been in business so long they remembered going to the house I was buying and still had the details on file. Jesse the service tech was professional and courteous. He was on time and worked quickly to solve pump out our tank. The price was the same I was quoted. Only downside to the company, no consideration of active duty military or first responders.
