Jimmy Doster built an exceptional home for me. I first encountered Jimmy's expertise when he did some remodeling on my old home. He was recommended by one of his subcontractors who supplies glass and hardware to all the local builders. That home burned in 2013 and I engaged Jimmy to do my rebuild. Jimmy Doster built our home in Landfall in 2013, next month (September 2020) will be seven years we have been in the home. If we were to build another home tomorrow, I would not bother conducting the contractor interviews I did when we built this home, I would go directly to Banks Channel Building and begin the process.
Jimmy built us a very high quality home and we are very pleased. His sub-contractors are the best in Southeastern NC and have worked with him for many, many years.

Jimmy Doster and Banks Channel Building Company constructed our custom home of approximately 4,000 square feet in Autumn Hall. Jimmy Doster (Banks Channel Building Company) built my family home. I find that some folks don't understand that building a custom home is a process; one that requires patience and communication on both sides. Hopefully, this review will save you from the horrible mistake we made by hiring Jimmy Doster of Banks Channel Building (formerly Doster Building Co.). We are currently trying to repair the devastation. Rain permeated our house through windows and walls. Our wood floors are damaged. Some of our windows need to be reinstalled or replaced. Doster’s trim carpenters mangled window trim so badly that some of our windows leak water into our home rather than repel it. We are not alone. We are friendly with other former Doster clients that have brought legal action against him.
