Michael has 30 plus years of experience in a wide variety of building types and construction delivery methods. Michael has completed projects in Health Care, Military, Education, Residential and Commercial with a strong focus on design coupled with technical abilities in putting buildings together that serve our clients goals and needs.
Jackson started at Lewallen Architecture after High School to build architectural models due to of a strong passion for craft and design. Five years later he is studying Architecture at Portland State, and his responsibilities at the firm have grown. Jackson's passion for Architecture has also grown as he continues to expand his knowledge of this complex profession.

Michael has been creating these sketches ever since he was a child; he was always enamored and inspired by his father's construction business. The beginning of every design starts with basic sketches. The sketches will evolve through multiple iterations creating the early schematic design which all future drawings will be based off. Using state of the art design software, your project is developed in 3D from the beginning. Drawings are generated with ultra efficient semi-automation, and all views are updated instantly whenever changes are made.

The Two Rivers Museum project was anything but normal! Lewallen Architecture/Build took the project design and permit issues as a challenge and went all out to make the Museum project into a wonderful one of a kind structure. The in-kind contribution and patience to get the best products for this log structure is evident in its beauty and it will become a destination of choice for our community to enjoy for a long time to come.

We entered a contract with Michael Lewallen for a major addition. We chose him because his bid was the lowest. Michael Lewallen, after collecting 95% of our money, with only 60% of the project completed, said he underbid the project and basically, at the point we were on our own. He breached our contract. We paid out of pocket six figures, if we hadn't our project would have sat, open to the elements. It is money we did not have. Also, many of the sub contractors told us they either had a terrible time getting paid, or they didn't get paid at all. In order to complete our project, we had to pay
