Manipulative and abusive. Called the Volvo Service Center this afternoon to ask for assistance as my heads up display was no longer showing the speed limit. I get a same day appointment and went in at 3pm. As I'm heading over, my check engine light comes on. I talk to the customer service rep Joel Hall. I'm told diagnosing the problem is at no cost. At the 1 hour mark, Joel comes over to me in the waiting area and explains that the engine light came on because my car's software needs to be updated AND because there is a leaky valve. Joel says it's all a quick fix.

We want to give the service department staff 10 stars! We were en route to Portland, ME when one of our door handles separated from the locking mechanism. We called from the road, tried to describe the situation and were told to come in when we arrived in Portland. Upon arrival we were greeted by friendly, professional employees and the repair was completed in less than an hour. Thank you very much Portland Volvo!

I could not be happier with the friendly and professional service I got from the Portland Volvo team yesterday. Very courteous, thorough, did not try to con me or overcharge me/fix things that weren’t broken, and gave me a beautiful loaner SUV with ease.
I previously went to a different certified Volvo dealership/center and stopped going due to my frustrations and dissatisfaction. I will 100% be back again!! I recommend anyone with a Volvo to swing by here for service, they are great! Thank you John and Lisa in service, especially!

Great service in short notice. I was on a coastal road trip. Check engine light came on late Friday while I was visiting friends. I called Portland Volvo first thing Saturday. They told me they had limited staff on Saturday but that if I could come in and be patient they would do their best. They already had a full schedule. They got me back on the road that afternoon. They saved the day!

I bought a used 2018 Jeep Wrangler from the salesperson Cheyenne. From start to finish it was a fantastic experience. I knew what I wanted to pay for their vehicle and what I wanted for my trade. We reached a deal easily on my terms. Drove away the same day and couldn't be happier. Want to be treated with respect, courtesy and a friendly attitude...see Cheyenne at Portland Volvo. And yes, I drove all the way from Keene NH for the car I wanted...and would again.

A horrible experience from start to finish, both on the sales, fulfillment and service end. I purchased a brand new XC90 from this dealership and it's been one mishap after the next, with zero consistency or accountability when it came to serious errors made. Service has been similarly lackluster, and sleazy, with misrepresentations about what my service coverage actually consists of. After spending 50k with these jokers, I'm left feeling epically screwed over. I will never, and I mean never, do business with this dealership again.

Just bought a pre-owned Audi and couldn't be happier! My sales guy was Colin Mack. Very helpful not pushy at all. The car had a ton of swirling from a previous bad buff job (black car) but their detail guy was able to make it perfect when I came back to pick it up. I do sales for a living and I'm very picky, I would go back to these guys again.

I was delighted with Portland Volvo's approach to "no negotiation, no hassle" used car sales. Purchasing a car usually feels like a game rigged in the dealer's favor. After month's of research I knew the vehicle I purchased at Portland Volvo to be competitively and fairly priced for the features and mileage. The sales people weren't trying to hustle me, or shake me down for more money, they were trying to help me find the right car for me and my family. They were super helpful and not negotiating saved me tons of time and headaches.

I must say that Portland Volvo has made my car buying experience beyond fantastic! I actually drove from Miami, FL to Portland, Maine for a used Jeep Grand Cherokee they had listed. It was more than worth the trip. Ralph D'Angelo, Curt and Jason took care of all my asks and were the politest group of dealers ever. I'm on my way back to Miami with a huge weight lifted off my shoulders and a smile on my face. They offered me more than fair value for my trade-in, which is one of the reasons I undertook the trip - plus they also had the exact car I've been searching a year plus for.

My service experience was very positive. Joel was professional, listened to my concerns and was very kind. I've dealt with him on previous occasions and have always found him to be courteous and pleasant.
I must admit that I DID call a week prior to make an appointment and had to leave a message. That call was never returned. I was a bit miffed, but felt a second chance was in order as previous experiences were without issue.

Portland Volvo (PV) was somewhat helpful in dealing with me purchasing a used vehicle from them remotely from the west coast. However several regrettable things happened:
A. The shipper PV contracted was unable to give any shipping dates or insurance information. I searched for a shipper myself only to realize the shipping cost would be twice what PV suggested and would take much longer than originally promised.
Bottom line: PV, check your sources and don't misinform your customers
B. The vehicle was priced roughly at KBB retail, but I am not sure what was "retail" about it. Example
