Services
High Efficiency fan motor: $150 (Standard on Energy Star qualified natural gas furnaces (only available for PECO Electric customers)). Additional $100 on a dual fuel heat pump (hybrid) - Heat Pump Efficiency must meet $500 level Rebate (see above) - This is not a separate rebate, just an additional amount.
Each home is different. A heat load calculation will help us determine the right size for your home. The heat load calculation is generally based on square feet of the house, amount of windows, insulation and other mitigating factors. Air filters help keep your HVAC system working properly. During the heating season, a dirty air filter will reduce the air flow over heat exchanger and could cause it to crack.
There is no doubt that Toran air conditioning is up to the task of any air conditioning service problem you may have. A common error that many people make is that if the AC is still working with a few glitches, they will wait to get it serviced. People think they are saving money on a service call, but they are mistaken.
Installation cost is usually the primary factor for many consumers when replacing their Air Conditioning system. However, how can you best assess the benefits of your new heating and cooling system - when installation costs are but one variable in the total value equation? Did the contractor review the manufacturers' performance data with you to demonstrate why the unit you're buying is the right size?.

I hired this company to install a new furnace. Arthur was very responsive and professional. He gave a date and back up date for the installation and confirmed the exact date and time about a week in advance. His guys were my house by 9:30 am on the scheduled date. Arthur inspected the system, bled the radiators, and answered questions while we waited for system to heat up. They did great work and I am very happy with the end result.

My experience with TORAN Heating and Air Conditioning was a
very positive one,
Art is the owner and operator of Toran and I would give him a A++ for his customer service. Art was thorough in explaining the system, took the time to answer any questions I had. He was also very easy to reach by phone and over saw all the work and inspected the work when it was completed.
I am so happy with my AC (just had it installed in the spring),
I am new to Philly and even though I love the city this would have been my 3rd summer without AC till a neighbor recommended Toran to me.
The two major concerns

Toran Heating and Plumbing Company installed my house heater. The gentlemen were on time, accurate, efficient and well mannered. They completed the job in a timely manner and even cleaned up thoroughly after they were done installing my heater. I would highly recommend this company for their pricing, efficiency and courtesy. If you have HVAC needs look no further. Mr. Toran assessed my job personally, explaining exactly what was needed, and was patient in answering the many questions I had. My installation was for 2 complete HVAC systems (new heaters/condensers) and the price was more than fair. Even after the job was completed, Mr. Toran followed up to ensure everything was fine. A++++

I hired Toran after getting 3 quotes since theirs was the most reasonable by a few thousand, and I got the sense they would work with me on creative solutions to install a new AC system, ducts and all. I was surprised and how they were able to find minimally invasive ways to install the ducting and even route lines into rooms we didn't think possible. They were professional, punctual, and fast. Would hire again.

We are very pleased with Arthur and his team! Arthur came more than once to our house to check our project and give us a comprehensive estimate. Communication was wonderful! After making some research, I was interested in a 2-stage furnace and a certain brand, so he was able to get us the exact equipment. He worked with our timeline and did all the work in 2 days. We will certainly recommend Toran Heating & AC and will hire them again for our next project.

Art and his team installed a Mitsuibishi ductless AC unit in 2 rooms of the house for me (one of them cools my entire first floor). I had wanted a floor model because I didn't think the long big units would fit in my space or look nice aesthetically. Art figured out how to make it happen with his team. They were also punctual and left the space clean and neat.
