Appliance Guard

Asked for a serviceman to repair dishwasher. Scheduled a 3-hour window for today between 10 and 1. Serviceman never came to my house. He called at 10:15 and my phone was off. I called him at 12:45 and asked if he was coming. He said no, everybody is home now. Can we reschedule for Monday. I said no, I'll go with another company. Mike (the manager?) texted me and said they will shorten the window to two hours and come tomorrow. Told him no thanks. Not going to sit by my phone for two hours waiting. That would be waiting a total of 5 hours for a repairman who might not even show

I called and got an appointment right away. Yury worked on my appliances in a timely and professional manner. I never felt cheated nor overpriced. I will be calling again when my other appliances need repair. Thank You Yury!

This man, Boris, the owner, could not have been nicer. Came out the next day after we called, spent about half an hour here,diagnosed the problem but said the part was on back order and he could not even get it. Would not charge me. Highly recommend this service. Prompt, honest, friendly.

We are a busy household and can't be without our washer. I called Appliance Guard and quickly set up an appointment for the next day. The technician called before he arrived to let me know he was on the way, arrived on time and within an hour had replaced the water pump in my washer. Great experience. I'll call Appliance Guard again if I need another appliance repair.

Our refrigerator gave out and a tech from Appliance Guard was able to come out the next day to check it out.
We needed a new motor, which had to be ordered.
The tech came out bright and earlier the very next day, with the part and fixed it for a fraction of the price of a new refrigerator.

I held off on posting a review, not sure our refrigerator would still be working a month later (ya never know), but it is in tip-top shape.

Yuri made fast work of repairing our dishwasher, he gave us an estimate on the two potential repairs needed. Made the repair and left the area clean and helped us understand how to keep it from happening again. Great service, great technician's , we call them first for all our appliance repairs.

Called them on Monday to have someone come out and fix my microwave. Was told the soonest they could come out was Thursday between 12pm and 3pm. Well it is now 3:45pm and now one has come out or called. Obviously unreliable so be careful if you choose to schedule an appointment with these flakes.

I had an issue with my refrigerator, to which I originally called another company. After 4 visits for the same problem. I finally decided to call appliance guard after my friend recommended them. Misha came out and without even opening the refrigerator already determined they problem just by sound. I mean for a tech to be so good he can determine the failed by only by hearing it. I personally think that by far very impressive skill.He also explained to how the failure happens. And when he finished he vacuumed the area he worked in and wipe everything down with with an alcohol wipe an follows

So I called this place 3 or 4 times and left a voicemail regarding our freezer that wasn't working. No call back and when I called back later it rang once and went straight to voicemail. How rude and unprofessional. They never called me back. I went with Gardena Appliances and they were courteous, responsive, and got my money. They must have enough to not call people back and forward them to voicemail

I got back from vacation and I could hear water coming from underneath my dishwasher. Called Friday I was able to get an appointment for Sunday. Had to turn off the water until then.

The the repairman shows up at 9:45 on Sunday. He takes off the front of the dishwasher and in just a couple minutes tells me that one of the black tubes that feeds the waterline to the dishwasher is broken and needs to be repaired. He cannot fix it I need a plumber. I paid $65 he went on his way. Call 3 different plumbers and they all tell me call appliance repair guy . I tell them they told me to call a plumber

I wouldn't suggest you trust these guys to fix your appliances. I'm not sure they know what they are doing. They've been out here twice in the last year for the same error code on our washing machine. Both times la they've said they've fixed it. They fixed it most recently, for a second time, just over three months ago. Same error for the third time is happening again now and they refuse to help us without charging us, yet again.

We've paid them twice for parts and service. Maybe their parts were second hand or refurbished? Maybe their fix was a band aid with no

Called another repair company that was responsive and was customer service oriented.

I've worked with Appliance Guard on two occasions, I've had Boris as my tech both times. LOVE HIM, he is thorough, friendly, clean with his work, and a genuinely nice individual, PLUS, Boris will give an honest assessment.

Called in the morning at about 0830, they were here to repair our stainless steel Whirlpool french door ice-making door water refrigerator by 1230, fixed it 100% with a very simple maintenance solution in less than an hour, saved us a substantial expenditure for a part we did not need, and charged a very fair amount for the service.

Like clockwork and as promised, Mike arrived to service our washing machine. Turns out we need to replace the machine and rather than charge for an expensive repair that will likely occur more than once, he was upfront about a replacement at the get go.

The washing machine is in our guest house where lately we have had tenants so I thought while we had his attention we asked him to spot check the dryer and stove too. A couple of tweaks here and there and we're good for now but the previous tenants were a little hard on the appliances so we will likely need to replace the stove in the next

Called over labor day weekend and had service done on washer and dryer combo unit - repairman called before he came for a visit and then was very informative when i asked about the cost and if its worth repairing the unit, tech went in on how appliances are not as good as they used to be and we ended up fixing our 11 year old maytag, provided receipt and warranty and was out in less then 30 minutes - good overall service

Got referred to this company through a friend who lives out in Long Beach. They did a fantastic job in repairing our leaky washer, came on time and managed to repair on same day. This will be my go to company for appliance repair in the future.
