So purchasing a certified preowned Ford Explorer XLT with Family Ford is turning into a very bad decision.

I thought I got a reasonable deal but it's turning into my biggest nightmare. I bought this truck in October 2020 and purchased their premium extended warranty.

Now less than a year into it, the air conditioning broke which they will cover with deductible but the drivers side door panel, which was a recall item from Ford is falling apart and they won't cover it, even though I was notified about the recall only after purchasing the vehicle and the recall they say already expired

Honestly, very disappointed to have heard how they treated my parents, especially after 7 cars purchased from them through the years. They shouldn't be called "Family" Ford because they are far from anything like family. How can you have a signed contract and then tell someone they owe more money the day you are supposed to pick up your vehicle? They play games. I won't ever return and I will not have anything good to say about Family Ford ever again.

I worked with Guy to get pricing on a Ford Edge. Although I ultimately ended up purchasing from another dealer because of price, I wanted to review the service provided by Guy. He was upfront, honest, and a joy to work with. I will be keeping him in mind for the next time I need to buy a car.

Beware of this dealership! They charge exorbitant rates, don't perform proper work & don't stand behind their warranty work. They lie, & are a very dishonest bunch. BEWARE!

I recently had front and rear end body work done. Out of all the quotes I got, Family Ford's was the cheapest by a few dollars to several hundred. But, that was not my deciding factor. Craig and Robin went out of their way from quoting to completing the job. I felt secure letting Ford do the body work because of the excellent service I have always received from the Service department.

They not only fixed the areas from the accident, but cleaned and polished the entire outside of the vehicle. Craig even touched up some chips made from rocks and painted the entire front bumper which

This is the first time in a very long time that a did not have my vehicle serviced at a quick lube type of establishment, and I couldn't be happier that I came to Family ford. I purchased a new ford and they threw in the first service complimentary, so I took advantage of it and now don't believe I will return to the quick lube style any longer. I was able to make an appointment that worked out for me, was able to wait in a comfortable lounge area and the vehicle was done in very little time. I also like they are concerned about your vehicle. There was no pressure to add any other services

I have been dealing with Family Ford for many years. After 30 years and purchasing too many cars to count (and one Ranger pick up) never once have I been disappointed.
Family Ford came through again recently when they went above and beyond the call of duty. They located me a GT350 Shelby after their allotment had already been sold.
This is not an easy car to get a hold of, but not only did I get the car, but I got exactly what I wanted!!
Kudos to John and Mark at family Ford for working so hard to track down this car!
Now I have a major bucket list item checked off thanks to Family Ford!

Don't buy a used car from this place and especially DO NOT pay for the extended warranty. Nothing will covered, it never is and if it's covered, theyll find some part if it that is not. We bought a certified preowned 2004 ford focus the end of 2011. My husband just drives it to the train and when purchased, it had lower miles than usual, less than 65k. In that time @ 12 k miles have been put on it. We paid for the extended warranty which would've taken us to the end of 2014. So our muffler gets loud, very loud. They claimed that it was a new muffler when we purchased it. We brought

This review follows my car leasing experience in the Morris County area. I have posted other reviews from the dealers that I dealt with while searching for my new Ford Fusion.

In mid October I was the first customer of the day to come into Family Ford. I found myself in a clean showroom, stocked with a nice selection of cars. I was greeted by a well spoken and polite sales associate.

Using my no nonsense approach to car leasing/ purchasing I presented the salesman with a sheet of paper stating all of my particulars and the particulars of the car I was looking to lease. I was ready to lease that

Great sales and service staff! Fred Munderhenk, other Fred, Guy Torre are stall I dealt with. They are not high pressure, have patience and made buying experience best I have had. Bought one car from them, service two at their service department, Alex and other staff in service have been great to me!

I ended up not buying an extended warranty for the car and they still are very friendly! Have sent other people I know to their service department, all seem pleased with service.
