Thank you for your prompt service and dedication to your work. The sellers have endured lots of issues getting their house ready for settlement and this one was especially challenging. I am always confident when you are in charge of a project - I can feel with certainty that it will be completed on time and within budget.
Scott A. Bailey is president of Berks Septic Service and its sister company, Bailey's Inspection Services. Scott is the 4th generation in the Bailey family to provide septic services to Berks County and southeastern Pennsylvania.
With every pumping service, our technicians also evaluate your system for existing or potential problems. We don't just pump and run! We check for things like the flow of liquid through the building sewer, the condition of the inspection port and access to the septic tank, and the presence of any tree roots that might interfere with the function of the septic system.
Here are pictures of a few typical septic tank lids found in Berks County, PA. Some lids are already exposed at ground level, which is excellent because our technicians have easy access and are be able to see what they are doing when they pump. When lids are exposed, our technicians can simply open the lid and pump.
BioFORCE comes in convenient, pre-measured, water-soluble packets for use in septic tanks, grease traps, holding tanks, lift stations and sewer lines. BioFORCE is a live bacteria product that effectively degrades organic waste solids and grease to promote proper system functioning and eliminate odors.

Had previously used this company without issue. Called on 1/17 to schedule septic pumping due to tank backing up. First available appointment was 2/2. I scheduled that time but was able to find another company to come out quicker. Called to cancel Bailey's.
On 2/2, I got a phone call asking about my driveway conditions at 10:34am, I called back at 11 to tell them I had canceled the appointment. I arrived home at 11:15 to the owner telling me he would back fill my septic and not charge me because he didn't get notice that I canceled. He asked if I had cameras to prove that he was there, started

On Thursday, August 5th, I started to get an intermittent drop tank alarm. My first course of action was to pull the lid on my drop tank and check the effluent level, which I found to be satisfactory. I also witnessed the drop tank pump successfully evacuating effluent to the drain field. Knowing the pump was operating, I figured we had an issue with the alarm float.
A quick Google search led me to Berks Septic, who I reached by phone at ~0830 on Friday, August 6th. I explained the situation and made sure to mention the effluent level in the drop tank was satisfactory, the drop tank pump was working

Scott and his team have gone above and beyond to help us. When I bought my house, I was very uninformed about septic systems. With my first call, they walked me through how my system works, never rushed me off the phone. We had an abnormal problem with interesting obsticals, but they kept working with us, to get through it and get our problems resolved. I would 1000x recommend Scott and his company to everyone looking for septic service.

New to the home. We called in response to their mailer congrat on new home. We did not know where or how many tanks in ground, except the pump tank w/concrete riser, - no others visible. Very ignorant and rude person per phone call to our call asked ridiculous and misleading questions we could not answer leaving us shocked by dragging out the conversation to exhaustion. What a difference when we called another local service! They asked address, immediately provided detailed MAP so we could find and dig away the grass, and boom, - DONE! What a contrast. Note: It IS Exactly the same company. I have
