Plumbing rep that came to house attempted to upsell and also quoted $100 over what most other plumbers charge for a basic gas pressure test. Tried to "scare" me into paying for additional services on plumbing system i didn't ask for & that is not required then when I refused said he would put me on a do-not-service list. -from experienced general contractor that understands codes & requirements.

Eric was super responsive to our needs. He let me know 30 minutes before he’d be there and arrived exactly on time. Was very professional; went immediately to work and identified the issue very quickly. Even though he had to coordinate with Home Warranty Company; did this and got approval for repairs within about 15 minutes. Joel was the plumber who came out to help with the install of a new bathtub, and he was fantastic! He went over all the options and thoroughly explained what we were going to do any why. He was quick and very professional, and I definitely feel like he actually had my best interests in mind. It's difficult to be positive when you're faced with a plumbing emergency type situation. However, I can say that my house was serviced by an experienced, family owned and extremely professional company. This was literally my first experience hiring a plumber, so I don't have much to compare it to. However I can say that they explained the issue direction, provided some professional insight, and worked quickly to get the process moving. After my warranty company sent out a terrible company (A Snap) to diagnose my water heater and refused the job, they contacted San Antonio Plumbing. From my first call they were kind, helpful and the lady taking my call got me worked into the schedule two days early. Joseph worked with my warranty company and got the perfect replacement for it (it was a 65 gallon wh that isn't made anymore) and minimized my out of pocket costs and convinced them to purchase locally. I needed my water heater replaced. It's a 75 gallon, Natural gas unit. It would have cost me $1200 to purchase from HD or Lowe's, but they would have had to order it, and I needed it sooner than later.
They guys came out and quoted me $4100!!!!!
To install a $1200 water heater. In a closet, in my garage. I had it drained and disconnected before the got there as it was getting late. I even removed the water softener, let them borrow tools.
Don't get me wrong, they were really friendly and did a clean install.

They charged me $390 to replace kits in 2 toilets. (Each kit costs $14) I had a huge water bill and needed them to come fix 2 running toilets and they wouldn't give me a quote over the phone. I went ahead and paid it because I had already taken off work and didn't want to let the toilets continue running. I'll call Chambliss next time. They're ethical and affordable.

These guys are prompt and professional. We just bought a house and of course there will be unpleasant surprises. Replacing the 40 year old dishwasher was not going to happen until Brett and Joseph got involved. Old, inefficient fittings and patch jobs got replaced with new, clean piping and angle stop. A small leak that had been there was gone and the new dishwasher runs and drains perfectly. The price was totally fair. And this was on a Saturday. We'll be calling them when the next plumbing surprise shows up.
