Very professional and got the job done right, on time, and under budget. I needed all of the ductwork replaced in a rental house, and was able to get an estimate, schedule the work, and take care of the payment all over the phone and by email since I live in a different city than the property. Made it very easy to get done without having to make a trip. Best price by several hundred dollars compared to other quotes, and they actually fixed a few more flaws than other companies had pointed out. I will definitely be using them for all my HVAC needs in the future. Highly recommend!

I've been a happy customer since 2010. They've performed just about every service, taking care of my two central units (Ruuds), which were 30 years old when they finally croaked in July of last year, and they installed two new Ruud systems. Brown AC & Heating is one of the nicest companies I've ever dealt with. Prices are reasonable, service is great, and the office staff are pleasant and friendly. They're A+ for sure!

When 1 A/C unit failed, we knew it would be more needed for our old system. Charles scoped out a new RUUD SEER-14, 4, 3, and 2.5 Ton cooling/heating system that would give us peace of mind in function and comfort. Yesterday as planned, a crew of 6 + Charles arrived and went to work replacing our old 3 A/C and heating units. With military precision they were organized, had tasks planned, and removed/installed our new system. Charles was my technician and he has done an amazing job. Answering all my questions and counseling me on their products. From my first impression of them while speaking over the phone I have been very pleased. Very fast and efficient, installed a new AC unit and I have been extremely happy and confident with my purchase. It comes with a year service warranty and they have honored that! No major issues just had them come check the installation for accuracy. I will only be using Brown from low on!

Charles responded very quickly with a thorough inspection and attempts to repair. Offered several options as the warranty company would offer limited solutions. Set the installation of a new air handler in the west end of Galveston Island with priority. When the warranty company followed up with bad info, Charles was on site immediately to get it straight while the techs continued the installation. The price was inclusive and fair, the workmanship neat and clean and we have cold air tonite for our family visiting from out of town.I will continue to have Brown service our system and will recommend

Brown AC & Heating responded immediately to my AC issue after waiting over a week without ac for the AC contractor(Douglas Mechanical) assigned by my home warranty to schedule the repair assessed from their initial inspection!
Charles with Brown AC was at our home first thing the next morning, assessed the issue and was able to make the repair needed in less than 30 minutes and had us back up and running for only the cost of the initial service call fee of $80! Substantially less than what the other contractor was going to charge us for non covered charges exceeding $700.00!!

We have used Brown AC and Heating several times now and have always been please with their service and their professional repair men. Our AC went out last night with it being still 80 degrees out it was a hard night. Called Brown first thing in the morning and they had someone out around 9:45 which was before the 10-1 window they had said. Cole was very professional and had everything running quickly. It ended up being a simple fix. Other companies would have made it out to be worse and charged us a mint. Very grateful!

For this call, my A/C went out on Friday, after 5:00, but I was able to get in touch with someone immediately by t/c, and a technician was out the next day (Saturday). The technicians are great. The office personnel, terrible! I called to arrangement an appointment on a Wednesday. I was informed Thursday and Friday of that week were booked and that I would receive a notification on Monday regarding an appointment time for Monday. On Monday, I was notified two hours ahead of time to let me know a technician would be at my home. I was at work unable to leave. They should have given me a timeframe on the day that we spoke. My insurance co. AHS sent me this Technician frm Brown Air Conditioning & heating 2 get my system ready 4 the Summer. His name is Steve G. He was Great!! Vry mannerable! I would never recommend this company. AHS sent a technician from this company for a service call. The technician charged me $225.00 for freon. When he left, the ac was not working. I asked AHS to send another company out. When the technician checked the ac, he found that a valve was unscrewed. The problem found was a faulty thermostat.

My insurance company called upon Brown AC. The technician came out and did not leave an invoice. Just left and said if covered, insurance will contact me within a day. The next day we heard from insurance stating that the technician said we were not "maintaining our A/C,that the unit was very old, and was without freon before filing a claim." How can he determine that? I called Brown and the secretary gave the run around saying the insurance determined all this and not the tech? I call BS on their response. There is no way I let a customer wait 2 weeks to hear from them, no matter what. Their prices to upgrade to code are way higher than other quotes I have gotten. Just the fact that the original tech didn't think of plugging the hole like I did is too much. Go tell your lies to someone else.
By the way I bought 2 complete new systems from Boedensteiner that you would have sold me. I was never planning on just fixing the old system but using the home warranty money towards a new system. Your over priced bid lost you the job.

Early this morning we called and i spoke with Sabrina. she was the most lovely to talk to she was super personable and very kind. her personality didn't make me feel like a burden. i called back roughly 30 minutes later in order to set up a appointment for tomorrow. after giving her the information she said she would work hard to get her worker out here today between 3-7. we were greeted by Cole at roughly 3:10 and we were so grateful that he was so kind and gave us a fast and easy fix for our issue. he was just as kind as Sabrina and extremely understanding and quick to get everything situated

I had a home Warranty with AHS. They sent out brown air conditioning to my house. I was told that someone will get in touch and schedule an appointment It was really short notices when I was call. I wasn't able to meet with them. So it was rescheduled for next day and they couldn't tell me when. They said just expect a call tomorrow. So i clear my whole day for them.

Per my girlfriends experience with Brown two weeks ago...they came to fix a/c on a Friday and Sunday by noon it was out again. Brown flung down the attic stairs, were not careful, were not professional. Brown called asking if she was there at her house and she had walked past their van to get in the door. They parked in the center of her driveway and she had to park in the street. VERY unprofessional. She ultimately had to get American Homeshield to send a second company to fix the A/C.

One of my rent houses had an AC problem so I called American Home Shield (warranty company) and they sent out another AC company to diagnose the problem. I was unhappy with that other company because he told me the heat exchanger was too old and couldn't be replaced and told I had buy a whole new unit and quoted me an astronomical price.
American Home Shield then told me to call Brown Air for a second opinion.
Long story short, I did buy a new unit from Brown Air. They gave me very reasonable price and the service was impeccable.
I feel that I can trust their diagnosis more than any other
