Services
When the bricks face starts to flake off or "spall" the proper recommended repair is to rebuild the chimney. Rebuilding is the dismantling of the chimney brick work and relaying new brick with masonry cement. The top or crown of the chimney is finished off with a new precast concrete crown for small chimneys.
Each year there are over 21,200 related chimney fires causing loss to life and property. The National Fire Protection Association recommends that all chimneys be cleaned or inspected annually for safety. During a cleaning our sweeps perform a level I inspection for any cracks or defects and provide you with a written evaluation report of your chimney.
