Very Displeased. I had them repair my roof where a dead limb had fell on it. After they were done, they told me they couldn't match the shingle color so it looked terrible. Insurance co wanted to know what they would charge to re-shingle that entire side so at least that side would match itself. I called them several times but CSW would not return my calls. I had a different company come out and take a look and the man that did that estimate did not like what CSW had done and said they didn't try very hard to match the shingles. I had that company re-shingle and redeck that entire roof on that

Very professional and caring in an emergency situation with wasp nest in chimney. They promptly came out, removed nest, and provided permanent solution to the problem. I am forever grateful for their ability to work me in during a very terrifying situation with the wasps in my home. Highly recommend.

I bought a home in Knoxville in 2016 and Chimney Sweeps West cleaned and evaluated the chimney in the home prior to our purchase as was requested following our inspection. After buying the home, a gas line was found to be running through the chimney flue over a wood burning fireplace, which poses a danger to my family. I requested a report of their previous evaluation for the chimney on several occasions over the course of 6 months and they failed to provide one. During phone calls, they avoided answering direct questions about what might have been known prior to my purchase of the home. I do not

Guy came out and took a flashlight to look up the chimney and said its clean, then proceeded to go in his van and smoke a cigarette and rang the door bell 5mins later and said he went on the roof and looked but never left his van plus the cameras at our house had it all on tape. Service tect totally lied then demanding 450$. We called another company and they came with cameras and told us they needed to be cleaned. Dishonest company! I would not recommend this company what so ever!

Chimney Sweeps West provided excellent, timely service. Their office staff was attentive to my busy schedule, and the workers were professional. When something didn't work out quite the way it was expected, they stood by their word and made things right. I wish more businesses operated the old-fashioned way like these folks do. I was pleasantly surprised to find out they also do other home repairs. I will definitely employ their services in the future.

Employees Fred and Jeff repaired two chimneys for me. They showed up on time, gave me a written estimate, and completed the work in a timely manner. Highly recommend them and the company.
On a later call Mark and Walter repaired a stone porch and retaining wall. Pleased with the work they did as well.

I found this company on Angie’s list because I wanted a company working in my home that was licensed and insured. The employee who does their scheduling is very kind and she had no problem providing me with proof of insurance via email. She was also able to get me in for service within a day. I had a problem with my dryer not heating up to the correct temperature so I had them come out to check my dryer vents. Their employee Mark came out and was very courteous and friendly. Very unprofessional. I should have suspected something was off when the lady answered my phone call from the restroom and proceeded to tell me as much. I scheduled anyway as their reviews were mostly positive and their quote was the lowest of the three I had received.
I took a half day off work to meet Mark and Shane. Less than an hour prior to my appointment, I received a phone call from the same lady I had scheduled with informing me that they had come by earlier and that my concrete driveway was too steep for their truck. In the three years we have lived here, no one has ever had any issue
