In 2011 a tornado damaged our slate roof. The roof was over 100 years old. Realizing that slate roofs were not common, I let my insurance company pick the company to replace it. They picked DWC Restoration (now DWC Roofing). The sales person was friendly and worked well with the insurance company. The first problem was an employee took the scrap copper home (about $600 worth). I raised a fuss and they brought it back. Next, the copper they put on for the ridge caps looks like copper foil. I am glad I had them bring the copper back, because I had the material to prove the new material was
