Mohler Chimney is wonderful and does outstanding work! Nick was very responsive to my request for an estimate and it was his manner in interacting with me even in our first conversation that was one of the selling points. He brought up the discussion of design and understood I might want my near-100 year old house that had a distinctive chimney to have one again. He suggested a great color of brick to go with my odd greenish stucco. When we noticed that our chimney was leaking water into our attic we got several estimates. I'll say that Mohler initially came in with the highest bid, but they were the *only* company that actually looked closely at our chimney (by flying a drone around it - the others just eyeballed it from the ground). When I asked the other companies to take a closer look and they came back with ladders, their estimates were the same or higher. So I went with Mohler as the team that had the intelligence to look carefully at what was wrong. They did a great job.

They were timely, professional, courteous- My chimney rebuild is beautiful- They were able to re-use much of the old stone rather than waste it, & the new stone has been imperceptibly blended in. We had a chimney that needed to be rebuilt, it was in bad shape. We'd contacted many places that were giving contradictory information, that quoted astronomical prices, that were hard to communicate with. I found out about Mohler Chimney Repair through Nextdoor emails and read a lot of great reviews about Mohler's work.
My chimney was in bad shape (crumbling and pieces of brick falling on the driveway and backyard).
After contacting Mohler Chimney repair, Nick responded within a day and set up assessment visit and after that gave me an estimate.
His crew was able to come and do replacement in about a month.

We love our new chimney! Mohler's team showed up on time and replaced our old chimney in less than a week despite a lot of rain. Nick did a great job talking us through our options for brick work, and was in constant communication about scheduling. So pleased with the work of Mohler Chimney Repair. Nick did a great job explaining and bidding the project to us. The top of our chimney was destroyed in a lightning strike. We had another bid, but I called Mohler for another bid. John stopped out on a Saturday to look at the work and had an estimate to me within a day. Price was very competitive and John was very knowledgeable and detail oriented.

We authorized the work which was done on time and there were no claims for extra work or charges. Great care was taken to find matching brick. It was sourced from a brickyard in Colorado. Every detail was well planned and executed. The chimney looks great and we could not be happier.

Called to ask for a bid on some chimney repair, and the person answering the phone said "we'll pass." If they don't want the business, there are a lot more courteous ways to convey the message. Definitely won't consider this company again.

I regret that I have only one chimney, because I'd love to hire them again - but they also do tremendous brickwork. We hired Mohler after an inspection revealed extensive damage from a chimney fire - the liner had to be replaced all the way down to the firebox, and the chimney torn down and rebuilt from the roofline up. They were on time, clean, courteous, professional, and there were no surprises - they stuck to their estimate. And the quality of the finished product was not what was promised - it was much better.
