We purchased a house while living in another state and John went above and beyond in assisting us with the cleaning and inspection of the chimney and fireplace in our prospective new home. I cannot recommend this company enough. Once we close on the house we are having them clean the dryer ducts.

A while back, this company cleaned and inspected our fireplace. We were very pleased with the work. In recent months we wanted to install a woodstove or insert. We called (left a message), emailed, and even had a salesperson at the fireplace store call for information. Chimney Wilzard Sweeps never responded. If they're closed for covid, etc. I would expect them to update their website. The first experience was great, so not sure what is going on.

Was told on the phone when scheduling that the charge for an inspection of my two chimneys with a camera and cleaning would be $185 each. Mason looked into my basement chimney (stuck his head in the fireplace) and said that it looks like it had never been used, and didn’t need to be cleaned. He said he would charge me $105 just for looking at it. When I complained, he said he would knock it down to $55. I begrudgingly accepted, but did not feel that the amount was fair or justified, because he literally did nothing to the chimney. He cleaned my second chimney, and charged me $200, when I was

Brian & Co. of Chimney Wizard came by on a Friday morning and did a great job cleaning our chimney. They were very efficient, prompt and careful when working on the living room fireplace. They were also super friendly with my 9mo. son and needy yellow lab.
Their cleaning fee was comparable or better than the other chimney folks around the triangle area of NC.
We'll definitely be using them again for future upkeep/cleanings!

Chimney Wizard was recommended to us by Firehouse Casual Living Store when we bought our wood burning stove 6 years ago for our new home. The owner, Brian, installed our stove for us and has been coming every year since then to provide maintenance and cleaning. They are reliable and competitively priced but most of all, they do an excellent job and leave everything spotless. Thank you for continued great service!
