The owner Patrick was SO amazing to work with. We just purchased a home and needed our chimney inspected on very short notice before an ice storm so we could have a source of heat for our house in case we lost power. After calling 5 companies, I called Nexus desperate for help. Even with a slammed full schedule (like the previous 5 companies I called) Patrick went out of his way and came and did the inspection himself the very next morning before the storm. The assessment and inspection was handled very professionally. The inspector used a drone to inspect the chimney and provided all of the pictures and carefully explained his findings. He also thoroughly inspected the fireplace and the inside of the chimney. They explained all of the work that needed to be done and gave me a honest time estimate and kept their word! I had several problems with the chimney in my recently purchased home. It was originally wood burning but converted to gas which only sometimes worked. Steven Franke and Brenden Callahan were very professional and friendly. They called before their arrival to let us know they were coming and arrived on-time. Steven and Brenden did a thorough inspection of our chimney to determine the possible source of water leaks. This entailed going through our attic and getting on the roof. They determined that the flashing and such were solid and that the water leak staining was from an older incident that the previous owners had repaired. I cannot say enough about Nexus Chimney Service of Holly Springs NC. I have a wood burning Buck stove. The chimney was the original 40 year old pipe and had never been properly installed. We burnt fires for 40 years and it is only by the grace of God we didn't burn down our home. Patrick (the owner) and Larry were outstanding. Patrick stepped in to help Larry with the install as Larry's team member was on vacation and Patrick didn't want us to be without a fireplace for the Christmas holiday. That says a lot when the owner isn't afraid to get his hands dirty and accommodate the customer. VERY Professional

Professional and highly recommended! Patrick (business owner), Brendan and Steven came out after initial estimate and discovered that the job could be done for half of original estimate another employee made. This was after I’d hired them and paid a deposit, so they could have stayed silent and charged me that price for half the work, and I would never have known. But he proved himself and his business to be ethical, putting honesty above money, and securing a lifelong customer. Very good experience from start ( appointment setting) to finish. Office staff was courteous and concise, had no issues making an appointment and everything was outlined prior to Tech’s arrival. Craig was the gentleman who serviced our gas fireplace. These guys are seriously amazing!! They fixed our gas fireplace when no one else could - we seriously had three other fireplace companies come out.
