Recently we made the decision to upgrade our small solar system that came with the home we purchased to one that more closely meets our energy use needs. I was referred to Volt Modern by a friend for a solar panel installation on my house. This company has been amazing throughout the process. The owner is very responsive and takes a personal interest in every project; he answered all of my questions at every step along the way. Additionally, everyone at Volt Modern, from the initial design stage through installation and inspection, have been courteous, timely, and professional. Last and certainly not least, their work is very high quality and looks great. I can't recommend them enough.

On Thanksgiving 2019, we woke to a waterfall coming down the slider in our master bedroom, followed by a leak in another bedroom and a literal rain shower in our garage. What happened to our wonderful ceramic tile roof?! My husband and I had decided about a year earlier we were interested in getting solar and thought when we need a new roof, we will also get solar. This company was priced competitively and had amazing communication throughout the process. I spoke to the owner before, during, and after the job. I was even sent pictures of exactly what they were doing. Extra repairs the structure needed were brought to my attention immediately, so there were no surprises afterward.
They did quality work, but in my opinion, it is their great communication that sets them apart from contractors I have used in the past.

I am going to try and keep what could be a novel about how fantastic Buck and Volt Modern Roofing and Solar are fairly short.
From my very first contact with Buck, I knew right away I liked him and that he seemed completely honest and helpful. Unfortunately, with lack of roofers in my area I was trying to pull together quotes and Volt is the farthest quote I went for (a very different market). Because of this, I told Buck that local roofers here came in under his estimate and even though I wanted to go with them I had to pick someone else because this was an unexpected roof replacement on my part

5 stars. after having a bad experience with a roof on my old house, I did not want just anyone working on my new home 10 year old tile roof. We needed a qualified roofer to install our solar and after a little homework, found Volt Modern. Their reviews were spot on and our experience very good. Brian, Tyler and the rest of the crew couldn't have been nicer guys to have on our property and Pat Sweeney, the salesman, was very thorough.

Volt is the BEST! Where to start? My previous roofing contractor underbid my job and wouldn't call me back to honor the contract. It was very difficult for us to find a roofer that would even answer the phone. All in all we collected 4 bids over 2 months. Buck and Volt were our last bid. We were immediately impressed by our interaction with Buck, he is a genuine young man and obviously an expert in roofing. He was all over our house; in the attic, on the roof, and took the time to understand our needs, everyone else just gave us a price. Important to my wife and I was our need to protect our garden

Very happy with them. They installed my panels about 6 months ago and my bills have dropped significantly. They also walked me through how to deal with the tax incentives and have been very responsive when I have called with random questions during the year.
