We specialize in roof repair and leak detection for tile roofs only. We also do gutter guard installation for all roof types. I am a licensed and bonded contractor with nearly 20 years experience in the roofing and gutter industries. Galen Powers, owner of Powers Roof Service, began his career in 1998 working in the roofing and gutter construction industry.
Through the years he worked his way up the ladder, eventually running three construction crews. Galen worked closely with many different contractors, learning from each one. In 2005 he started his own part time business working weekends, eventually devoting 100% of his efforts towards Powers Roof Service.
Our mission is to provide a service that helps people. We are passionate about the work we do because we know that we are making a difference for those in need of our service. There's a plethora of people who can put a band aid on any repair, but we strive to fix roofs the right way because that is the only way it should be done.

Powers Roof Service is very customer oriented. The owner Galen Powers will work with you to meet your needs. I have a 26-year-old tile roof. He explained my situation very well and made recommendations. His team is very knowledgeable and skilled in tile roof repair. Justen the inspector gave me an assessment of the work and performed a temporary fix on the impacted areas until they could come out to do a permanent repair. Galen and the Team are very knowledgeable and professional. Galen personally inspected my roof for dry rot and other areas of concern. Over two separate services (they were accommodating to my needs to split the cost of the work), the crew worked very efficiently to perform the needed repairs. The photos taken show that the roof deck was spliced in on framing, and all lapping, flashing, and battens were replaced in the work areas.

EXCEPTIONAL! These guys are the best in our area for tile roof repair and renovation. Very courteous and pleasant to have on the property.
I was thrilled to have all the roof repairs itemized with associated costs. We did find a couple more areas of dry rot so the price did increase a bit but that was understandable. I have many years as a lead renovation draftsman for engineering projects in Wash DC, so I have high standards. I have worked with world class craftsmen and technicians and I was very satisfied with how our roof repairs were completed.

I bought this home in south Auburn, about seven years ago; I honestly didn’t know much about having roof problems until two years later when I noticed the wall paint where hot water heater stood was peeling off and the drywall did not seem to be dry at all … LOL! Powers Roofing did a fantastic job on my recently purchased home. They conducted a full inspection prior to my purchase and provided pictures and a full description of all the problem areas. We had a lot of issues with our tile roof that we had been putting off dealing with including major leaks, old valley flashings in need of replacement, broken/cracked/slipped tiles, and dry rot. Powers Roof Service is awesome! I was re-roofing my two thousand sq. ft. concrete tile roof and the consultation they provided was invaluable. Their knowledge and expertise and attention to every detail is amazing. Galen was so friendly and helpful answering all of my questions, sharing his tricks of the trade and all the details of what he would do were this his own roof. He does not cut corners.
