Andy's first project-a small concrete tilt-up warehouse and office-still stands near the corner of 12th Avenue and Sandy Boulevard in Portland, Oregon. Our relationship-based approach to contracting and expertise in concrete construction propelled our growth and provided an increasing number of building opportunities.
We are accountable to one another, our clients and partners to uphold these values. When you walk into an Andersen office or onto a project, you feel our culture. The Andersen Construction Foundation leads our philanthropic efforts and commitment to the communities we serve. The Foundation supports non-profit organizations through a variety of efforts, including financial contributions and volunteer hours. It partners with nonprofits that align with our mission and vision.
The Architecture/Engineering/Construction community faces systemic barriers that produce an overwhelmingly white, male workforce. Deeply rooted racism persists within our country, and specifically our industry. Combined, these challenges contribute to an inherently biased workplace culture. This is unacceptable, and we are taking measured steps toward improvement.
Andersen excels in technically challenging projects, utilizing the latest technology and management trends in construction. With a goal to earn each client's designation as their "Builder of Choice", we will follow the construction management method preferred by the client. We are also happy to advise a client on the most efficient management method for a specific project.

I live in the neighborhood they are building condos in. I find it completely unreasonable to be working 7 days a week starting early in the morning. They give us these feel good notices saying they want to be respectful and good neighbors. They're not. They're loud, their workers take up all the neighborhood parking so people who live in the neighborhood have to park blocks away from their own houses. And now they are even worning Sunday mornings. Their machines are vibrating our entire house! all day long!!! Do not hire Anderson construction. They are not good neighbors and they are not respectful
