Chimney Repair Report

We believe only brick and stonemasons that know building code and chimney physics should fix chimneys. We not only have a state license, but we have two certifications for chimney repair. We offer chimney repair and service, which includes any type of repair such as replacing the top of your chimney or a complete chimney rebuild - whatever is needed, we can do it for you!

Fireplace Report

When you call Dayco General to repair your fireplace, our trained technicians will examine your flue and damper to make sure you have the proper ventilation needed for your home or business. Whether you need a fireplace repaired or a new installation, we equip our certified chimney experts for the job.

Brickwork Report

For a mason brickwork is the basics, we at Dayco take pride in our mastery of these basic techniques because even though it is the stepping stone of a good mason. We believe that our skills and mastery of the brick are exceptional. There is also a huge level of skill required to achieve almost perfect symmetry with imperfect building supplies.

Stucco Report

We remove and replace failing stucco, sometimes we just add stucco to exposed foundations, we always leave your stucco looking fresh and new. It doesn't matter if it's standard block, irregular block, brick, stone or we even stucco exterior insulation. We have also done quite a few interior stucco jobs on old stone basement foundations or inside of garage walls.

Bob Frolund was outstanding from start to finish on our project. The team assembled did an incredible job from start to finish. We had three chimney caps installed, two chimneys had to be rebuilt from the roof up. In addition we had a unique situation of removing a beam inside our fireplace and replacing with matching brick. I highly recommend Dayco General. The crew is fantastic to work with from start to finish.

Dayco General replaced our concrete walkways and put in a new concrete patio at our home in Minneapolis. We are thrilled with how everything turned out. Dayco General repaired our chimneys after we had a chimney fire. They assessed the situation with cameras and a full electronic report showing the damage and appropriate remediation guidance. Their team was very thorough and the work was completed very professionally. They even had to fight some pretty inclement weather (freezing cold and windy) to complete our job late in the season. We are very pleased with the results and look forward to engaging with Dayco again on, hopefully, more discretional projects! We completely recommend their work!
