We used HMS for our move out/move in and they got the job done with no harm to our furniture and got the job done very fast considering the distance of the move and amount of furniture/boxes we had. They were very thoughtful when wrapping all of our furniture to ensure nothing would happen to it.

The BEST decision my wife and I made was hiring Home Moving Solutions. Harvy met with us twice before the move and prepped us. He provided us as many moving boxes we needed and more importantly wardrobe boxes which allowed us to hang our clothes and fill the bottom of the box with more items that were to be moved. Extremely impressed with this company!! Not like other movers I have dealt with. From the initial call to schedule an estimate, Vera was excellent and explained their process, with outstanding follow-up skills. Harvey (one of the owners) came to estimate the move, was on time and also, one of the nicest, most honest movers I have dealt with. The quote I received was for 7.5 hours of moving time and an extra half hour they charge for the men to get back to the warehouse. The day before the move, the woman from the company called and said I had to make sure to provide them with water and check to make sure the men were ok. As if I didn't have enough to do. Initially, I thought they were working quickly, They got all of my boxes into the truck in 1.5 hours, but then it took them 3 hours to move the furniture into the van. This was the only moving company that told me straight up front about potential extra costs and "estimated" quotes. Joe went over it quite well with me over the phone. Every other mover I spoke with, I had to press the questions for them to tell me they charge extra for this and that, like they're hiding more fees from me unless I ask. HMS was honest up front and Vera communicates well over email.

Only knock was that despite me listing certain items as fragile or "easily scratches", I still noticed new scratches and marks on some of my items like the TV stand and coffee

Moved from Cliffside Park, NJ to Paramus, NJ. These guys showed up on time and did a great job with the move. They took apart, wrapped, moved, and assembled all my furniture beautifully. I actually didn't expect that level of care for my furniture.

It ended up raining as we arrived to move in. The team put blankets down to wipe their feet prior to coming into the home as to make sure the house didn't get too messy. I appreciated that little extra, this is making the clean up a lot easier.

I would definitely recommend their services and would likely use them again in the future

I would recommend this moving company to anyone! Tony and his crew were very professional and got the job done in less time than we expected, making the price cheaper than we anticipated. They wrapped up every piece of furniture before packing it into their truck ensuring that everything was transported safely. They took apart the bigger pieces of furniture and put them back together quickly and with ease. The movers were friendly and they made what could have been a very stressful day into a pleasant one.

When I was booking, Joe was great to work with. Upfront on pricing, estimated pretty accurately (considering that we haven't pack anything in boxes yet or started packing much at the time). I found them on Angies List, and their reviews were great. Had to video call on WhatsApp, and gave video tour so he can make his estimate. Had this been pre-covid or we had time would have had in person.

Having some mixed experiences in the past with moving companies, I looked at online reviews and short listed 3 candidates to interview. So glad that we picked HMS. Thoroughly professional, from start to finish. Had someone stop by to give us a detailed estimate and walked me through the whole deal. We had some stuff going to junk, some stuff in storage and rest to our new home. They were able to handle all 3 in a single trip.
They were spot on with the estimate and even gave me a call 15 minutes before the early arrival time to let me know that were on the way. Great professional job dis-assembling

Do NOT, I repeat Do NOT use this company. They lost my items and only offered $20 for more than $2500 in lost items. I have pictures, videos, texts and recordings of this all. Also owner threatened my career if I wrote a bad review. Stay away.

Home Moving Solutions made our move so stress free and easy. Harvey came to our house and provided us with a quote. He was very professional and gave us lots of pointers to make our move easy. His quote was right on point and he was upfront and honest about everything. There were no surprises, which everyone appreciates! Danny was the foreman for our move. Out of this world service! Dealing with Vera was a breeze! Had a small hiccup with furniture assembly and Vera sent a few guys back to make it right. Vera is very responsive and crew workers are top notch. I've used many other moving services in the past. Moved my boss from south nj to Bergen county last minute- Vera got it done.

I cannot say enough great things about HMS. From Harvey who came to quote me to Vera who handled all the finances and coordinating to Andy the foreman they made this process easy and stress free. Andy and his team were hard working, respectful and really cared about our move! If your on the fence about moving companies you cannot go wrong with HMS. I initially book them for my move and received a quote for approx $800 then the foreman came to my house with two undocumented individuals explaining to us that nothing was packed when it was. They lied! The foreman was very young and workers not experience they had rented a Penske Truck not even a company truck with 3 young kids. The foreman was trying to bill me more while they began the move for the stuff that was not in a box but was not fragile at all. Also, after contacting Vera several times she said believed what he said about stuff not being packed and told me she would cancel the move

The crew was fantastic. We've had some bad moving experiences and met with three moving companies before making our final decision. Vera was really awesome. She even gave me her cell phone number and texted me before the move to answer my questions. We really loved her. HMS is by far the best company out there in the moving industry. It was my first time using a moving company and I was moving from a 2nd floor 1-bedroom apartment to a single family house 5 minutes apart from one another. I put my contact information online and within minutes I had so many calls from a lot of other companies out there. I got quotes from as low $295 to as high as $900. Reviews for all the companies were either terrible or 50/50 - some good, some bad. Where oh where do I begin.

Back on Wednesday, I viewed an apartment in Jersey City (40 minutes from where I currently live) and loved it. I applied and was accepted for a lease, and was then told the following afternoon I needed to move in by the first. Which was the upcoming Saturday. The Saturday that was now TWO DAYS AWAY!
