Ed started in the moving business at 16 and soon became a driver at 17. Ed established Wade Odell Wade in 1984 with 1 truck and a 3 man crew.

Pedro, Jose and Dennis moved the contents of my house to a POD in my driveway in preparation for a renovation and they were AWESOME! I hope to have this trio again when it's time to move everything back into the house. They wrapped everything carefully and carried large, heavy items out under difficult conditions (steep, narrow stairways and lots of snow outside from the recent storm). They arrived promptly and worked diligently to complete the job within the estimated time. I felt the cost was reasonable as well. Very happy with WOW.

I have used W.O.W. For 2 moves in the last 6 months. Their price is comparable to others that I priced out, they are professional and the team of professional movers are great! The same team of guys moved me both times. The guys were professional, hard working and friendly! They were very respectful of the house, my “stuff” and even played with my dog so she got to know them. My moves had stops to/ from a storage unit and the guys moved all my stuff efficiently and quickly. On my last move some of my furniture didn’t fit in the new house so even though it was taken out of storage the team

I had high hopes for my experience with Wade Odell Wade. I had a representative come to my house and provide a detailed estimate, cataloguing all of the contents of my house in order to prepare the budget. After my move, the final price came in 40% above that estimate. Additionally, the movers were unwilling to move my treadmill (which was thoroughly discussed in the estimate) and it ended up costing me an additional $360 to have it moved after I closed on the sale of my house. My buyers were incredibly annoyed that I had to leave the treadmill in the home and I had to provide them a $200 credit

I have used Wade Odell Wade to transport my things from NJ to UT twice--once from my storage unit a year ago and just recently from my apartment for my final move to UT, my new residence. I did not research pricing this second time around since Jim Murphy and the whole WOW team were so responsive and professional last year that I knew I could depend on them again. Lamar Adams and destination crew in NC were too notch in moving my Mother in Law from NJ to NC. This is who you want to request. So helpful and professional. Careful and meticulously detailed. Be warned. Stay away. Used them to move. Dinged and chipped dresser, credenza, scratched tv and dropped the coffee table (from the Empire State Building) you pay for insurance, then they won't put a claim through. We provided prices to replace the coffee table. They couldn't care less. Arbitrary repair prices. The MOST obnoxious woman handles this department. Have used them for storage for years and didn't have a problem. They told us if we had a $50,000 table we should've identified it as "high value" and they would have wrapped it properly. I had an amazing move with them in July. In January, however, the move was HORRENDOUS!!!
The foreman whom they sent previously was bilingual, being able to converse with me in English and translating to the movers in Spanish. This time, they sent a foreman who "spoke", but did not "comprehend" English. This was apparent several times!!!
The items I indicated were very important and needed to be delivered to the residence, I was later told, were unlabeled and the movers did not know where they were. Those were food and medicine!

VERY DISAPPOINTED in my choice of movers to Florida. Precious Items stolen or given to some other moving recipient, from a poorly managed "co-mingled" moving van shipment - I knew something was wrong when they brought in a strange looking large box that was not mine. I opened it there in front of them upon arrival. Someone got my precious possessions and they tried to substitute it with a box full of cheap Christmas decorations. He gave us a bid on the spot of about $6,000. I fully expected that there would be some contingencies which would raise the cost, so was ok with a reasonable increase. Had John Dack come for a quote. He specifically said to call and book 3 weeks out. Then confirmed same in an email to my wife. Exactly 3 weeks and 1 day out, a call to their office to give the deposit reveals that they are now booked for our moving date. Maritza could not have been less pleasant. We had multiple email exchanges with them about the date, and were assured it was not a problem. I emailed John and he replied saying the the pandemic has created a demand for their services. We are preparing for a cross country move and after meeting with multiple companies I decided to go with Wade Odell Wade (through United Van Lines). Unfortunately, there were problems with communication and by the time I received the paperwork for our move, the quote had increased by $1000. I was hoping this could be rectified, but nothing could be done. I'm disappointed because I liked the agent I worked with and they seem like a good company, but was frustrated by what I perceived to be their mistake and I'm now going with another company.

So sorry it has taken me so long to post my update- I think my boxes are giving birth to more boxes- still unpacking! The delivery was outstanding- John ,Kevin and their Florida helper CeCe did an amazing job of unloading and patiently placing my belongings in my new home! The entire move at both ends was incredibly stress free. The care and consideration taken by all involved from beginning to end made what could have been a very stressful event, very,very easy! They were not honest or up front about our long distance move. We did not get our shipment for five weeks after it was loaded even though our last date of delivery was supposed to be two weeks after loading. There was no communication. There were no updates provided and I was made to feel foolish when I would call for an update. Even after our things arrived there was no call to see how it went or even say thank you for your patience. Was definitely let down by this company.

My mom contacted Wade Odell Wade (WOW) to move us and, without asking any details about the move, the WOW representative immediately told my mom that they couldn't move her for at least another two months. My mom asked if WOW could ask the owner, whose wife my mom used to work with, if they could either (1) put her on a big truck when one is heading to our new state; or (2) store our stuff and put it on a truck when one becomes available. OMG I had this moving company move me from New Jersey to Florida . Jim Murphy was my consultant and he was so exact so good , a pleasure to work with . They picked up everything no hassles moved over 6,000 lbs to Sarasota Florida arrived when they said it would .. Angel drove the truck and his team helped unload the 50'truck (huge) they also expertly set up my baby grand piano they spent 4+ hours unloading. everything arrived in perfect condition nothing lost or damaged nothing ,nada ,zero ... they were all great can't speak highly enough how that team moved me

Luigi, Steve, Jeremy, and Anthony were great. They treated our possessions like they were theirs and we couldn't be happier with our move. We moved from NJ to Maryland. The movers themselves were quite good. The problem occurs if anything goes wrong. A section of a newly refinished hardwood floor was very marred during the move out of the NJ house. Most likely from the pad laid on the floor and furniture moved over it. We noticed the area within an hour of the movers leaving. We immediately tried cleaning it, as any rational person would, to see if that would remove the problem and not bother the moving company. But it was more than a surface issue. So we contacted Wade ODell Wade and opened a ticket and sent a photo. Their response
