In 2009 we had our awnings replaced and at that time, SJ Awning did a fine job. Fast forward to 2014 and we have a leak behind the awning which needs immediate attention. Rain water is getting into our house. The awning needs to come down in order for the work to be properly done to repair the leak. I called SJA to see if they could come out and do a take down of the awning (and then replace after the completed work). Talk about a huge NO. They were less than helpful, and said, "This is not within the scope of our work." My biggest concern is that operations like this one, as with so

I first contracted with San Jose Awning in 2005, & they did an excellent job with recommendations for 2 motorized awnings which have served beautifully, most recently for my daughter's wedding. I asked them to check into why the awning was not rolling up correctly and had 2 small holes at the top..They advised that I needed a new cradle (which was 8 years old) and then repaired the existing awning by cutting off the damaged portion which was near the top. I did not have to purchase a new awning; it is now working perfectly, & their charges were reasonable. There crew is friendly

Last week we got 3 sun screens and 1 awning installed at our house in San Jose. Starting with sales call to pre-order visit to placing the order to delivery and installation we have been very satisfied with the professionalism of the staff and workman ship of the installation crew. This company is as good as it gets. and all their staff are extremely dedicated and nice to work with.
An excellent source for us.They helped us in timely manner,took care of all the city jurisdiction that is involved with putting up awnings and signage, no small task!
We looked around for a good price and were unable to find anyone who could match their price.

We had SJ Awning put up canvas roll-up exterior shades on our windows 20 years ago. Still in perfect condition. We recently had our house painted and the awnings had to come down, and once the job was done, replacing the awnings proved to be a problem, as none of us could figure out how to thread the rope through the pulleys to make the shades roll up! SJ Awnings to the rescue! When we contacted them for help, not only did they still have a record of the job they did for us, they were amazingly accomodating, sending drawings to us via e-mail to help us figure out how to do the job ourselves, which

I went to San Jose Awning back in 2005 to have an awning installed over my front door. Back then, I got 3 bids and selected this vendor over the others because I had more confidence in them after the bidding process. They weren't the least expensive but they were able to explain why their price was what it was. Michael Y. and his team went above and beyond the call of duty to make this awning a statement piece for my house. When I couldn't afford the proper finials for the arms that would've been perfect, Michael gave them to me because he couldn't bear for this job not to

I used this company back in 1995 to build the original frames and install awning covers. They held up well for about ten years and I had no complaints. However, when it came time to recover the frames, I contacted San Jose Awning again and it was a different story. Bear in mind that no one but San Jose Awning ever touched the frames. However, when it was returned to me with the new covers, there were a number of large scratches and gouges on the undersides of the frames. I complained and was told that it was not their fault. Since no one but San Jose Awning

I am very happy with the awnings we have. This is the 3rd set of awnings we have purchased from them. They tend to last approximately ten years. The sales call went well. I did not compare prices with other awning companies this time as I've been very happy with them in the past. They were all very professional and friendly to deal with. We had a slight hiccup on delivery dates, but after a couple of calls they worked with me and was able to deliver them when I needed.
