I called Tom and he answered right away and was able to come out the next day. He was professional and wore a mask and gave me a quote at the time of consultation. He brought fabric samples (Sunbrella brand) and helped guide me to the color I ultimately chose right away (which was impressive since I'm a designer and very particular). We had an existing retractable awning and just needed to get the fabric replaced, and he said it could be ready as early as the following week. Great service i had 20 year old awnings but the frames were good. Tom came out make a competitive bid had full samples to show me.Removed the awnings next day and returned and installed them with new fabric 10 days later so was happy with the quality and speed. Paid 50% down and 50% on completion of the work. Also performed alignment and adjustments to the frames when re installed so they opened more smoothly

Shocked that this business such good reviews. One of the worse owner/ sales person I have ever met. Didn't care about customer service. Rude to interact with in person. Sent abusive messages on the phone and all he wanted was pay him first - or he will not do the job. I am surprised how did he get such good reviews or is in business. I would never work with this person. Has no trust or faith in another human being. Comes with a negative attitude, does not listen to what a customer's needs are. Tom and crew are absolutely delightful to work with. They were COVID prepared, efficient and polite during the whole install process. Tom listened to our needs and budget and got us what we wanted. When I asked Tom to do something about the electrical wiring, he came back and addressed my concern ASAP. This business is highly recommended!!!

Tom picked up the phone immediately when called, setup a site visit the next day, and when he came to the site: he was prepared with fabric samples, and a written quote within twenty minutes. I had shopped other awning vendors, and knew he provided a competitive quote on the spot without any fussing. Ordered valance houndstoith style but it came with just a straight style, but still ok

Forgot to give me hand crank to use if piwer us out but did bring to me 3 weeks later but did not show me how it works, Ugh.

Found a very small drilled hole in my stucco. Tom said not caused by them which I sort of agree but wasn't there before.

Installers speak very little English but are very nice.

Left a mess (metal and plastic pieces) on my patio.

Overall a good job though.

In todays crazy world Tom and his crew showed up prepaired masks on and ready to complete job as promised only took 7 days very friendly and polite would recomend if you want awnings done.

I was able to get an appointment the day after I called him. When he came he measured the job, estimated the cost, and showed me many samples to choose from. In three days I had a beautiful awning over my kitchen window, which gets the hot sun most of the day. What a difference! He was courteous, and expeditious, providing us with a very pleasant experience. I definitely recommend Tom's Awnings services!

Just got my awning installed for my upper level balcony and it looks amazing! Tom was great to work with. Very professionally and prompt with all communications. Recntly hired Tom to purchase and install an awning outside our bedroom window that has no shade even with double paned windows, AC too and shutters our room was still unbearably hot! Well I'm totally pleased our bedroom is more likely tolerable the awning looks great the price was right and Tom was very professional.

He gave me a very fair quote; I had done my homework and knew how much sunbrella fabric cost. He called me that next Sunday night, and said his crew would be there on Monday. Incredible turn around!! We had a very positive experience with Tom Awning. We were looking to put a canvas roof over an existing pergola we had as we wanted to be able to use the outdoor kitchen area if it was raining. I showed Tom a picture of what I was looking for and he was able to create exactly what we needed. The sunbrella fabric curtains he did for us turned out beautiful, but after the install I contacted Tom Awning to let him know we needed to have a few more button fasteners for so the wind doesn't blow the curtains up when in closed mode. I had a pleasure working with Tom on an awning replacement for our patio and spa about 2 months ago. Wanted to let time pass by before reviewing so I could evaluate quality of work. First of all, the guy's very professional and prompt. Was able to get a sched and arrived on time. During the whole process, although the turnaround is quick, 1-2 weeks, he very transparent and communicates project updates. This is not to say that other professional awning companies aren't good, but every time we need an awning we end up going back to Tom. And we do shop around, believe me. He's turn around time is sometimes quicker than just getting an estimate from a competitor. Prices are 20% to 40% lower and the quality is great. Our 3 yr old awning still looks impressive. This is a no nonsense company that delivers results!
