They provide expert advice during the design phase with cost trade-off options, are very responsive to all communications and questions, provided great installation service, as well as post installation follow up.

I had three bids to install retractable awning, theirs was the best by far. And they are decent people, they followed up on my request to move awning after it was installed (it was my fault that I asked them to place it incorrectly at first). They spent a few extra hours to do that. Then it turned out that it required better leveling after the move and they came and did it as well. They didn't charge me extra for all this work.

They put a canvas over steel frame cover 14x17 over by backyard kitchen and it looks great.
The installation was done in one day, fabrication took about two weeks.
A design error was made and corrected in about a week, without charge, the workers were competent and pleasent, and right on time, both times.

Bay Area Awning did a great job on our home awning. We were very pleased with their workmanship upon installation. They did a wonderful job going slowly and ensuring that it was correctly installed. I also appreciated how clean they were on the job site. Excellent customer service at the office as well. Would definitely recommend for any awning job!

Bay Area canvas did a fabulous job installing a canvas awning on the western side of our home @ our master bedroom window.
Joe recommended the installation after visiting our house and noticed the temperature increase in our bedroom.
The installation tech was on time. The cost of the job was reasonable. There were no additional or "hidden" costs added on.
Bay Area Canvas is as professional as they come. Great work guys! I will be recommending them to my family and friends.
Hands down a 5 star business.

They did ok. Friendly estimator but Gripes:
1) the job ended up costing more than they described initially. They would say (& to be fair they did say) that they would not do the electrical hookup. However, they failed to observe that major electrical revision was needed to clear the space they would need for mounting the awning roll-- i.e. removing some exisiting conduit and relocating it as well as bringing in new circuit. They had only said, after it's up, get the electrician to connect it. Then when they came, they couldn't install until we got the electrician in FIRST to do
