DO NOT SHARE YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION WITH THIS COMPANY OR DOWNLOAD THEIR APP. They're running a scam. I've moved with Good Green Moving three times. The experience has always been fine - some good, some not as good, but overall the job gets done. The real problem began after my most recent move last March. Their new system forces you to download their app to sign their contract and make payments. Ever since my move, "Good Green" has charged my credit card $4.56. I've emailed, I've called over and over, I've even gotten calls back with profuse apologies and

I have used Good Green twice in the process of one local move and have been very happy with their expertise and professionalism.
Chris, Jose, Brian and Lorenzo helped us on July 10th. Cameron and JR helped us on August 3rd. Both times they knew what they were doing. The second time they were done earlier than expected and under the quoted price. Hope I don't have to move from my new place any time soon, but will use Good Green again if needed. Highly recommend!!

We were moving halfway across San Francisco and had plenty of stuff to transport. Jose led a great team of movers who made sure that our belongings all got safely transported. He and the team flagged anything they saw as risks as we were packing (e.g., making sure paint tubes were all securely closed, adjusting how electronics were stored in drawers to minimize any potential damage). Their regular cadence of communication made us feel informed throughout the process and comfortable with inevitable changes in plan, since Jose provided helpful context. I could not be happier with Good Green. We recently used them for our move from California to Ohio. They were professional and efficient every step of the way, from doing the original estimate, their flexibility when we had to change our delivery date, their pick up of our things in California and the timely delivery of our things in Ohio. I was pleased with the price as well and there were no surprises (except a good one when they called to ask me if the driver could drop our things off early in Ohio as he was ahead of schedule). I highly recommend Good Green.

Seems like the company has really taken a nose dive. Used to be very reliable and honest. I used to do business with them but they screwed the pooch on the last couple jobs I had with them. It's the office guys that screw things up and can't keep track of things. The actual drivers are fine.
I'm a proud former customer now. As others have noted, you can do better elsewhere.

I've moved many times over the years. I've now personally renamed Good Green to Good Grief. Let me enumerate the issues:
1) not timely: the moving company was very late both the day to help pack us up as well as the day to take our furniture to our new property (about an hour away).
2) breaks: the movers took breaks constantly and of course charge by the hour.
3) unprofessional: the individuals were completely unprofessional - they just didn't take the job seriously. At the place we moved into, they spent a lot of time checking the place out, sitting in our chairs, lifting the

The quote Peter provided at the beginning resulted being very accurate and spot-on!
On the day of the move, Chris, Jordan and Hector were on time, very friendly, worked extremely fast and handled everything with great care.
Our furniture and boxes arrived exactly when expected, despite the snow and challenging conditions around Lake Tahoe. The unloading and furniture mounting was quick and very well done.
I highly recommend them and will certainly use their services again.

I moved furniture myself for nearly three years when I was a teenager, during the nearly 55 years since then, I have been a keen observer of movers in the more than 20 moves I've made. Good Green is simply the best I've ever experienced.
It is rare to have a move where absolutely nothing breaks or is scratched, but it is understandable because the communication between the six guys who were on the job was extraordinary. I have never heard such clear, constant, and detailed instructions between each of the guys.

I have used Good Green Moving several times in the last few years, and they have been a pleasure to work with every time. They show up when they say they will; their workers are respectful, patient, detail-oriented, and incredibly strong and hardworking. They move boxes, furniture, etc. but can also do the actual packing if you need help with that. I would recommend them highly.

We had to move and store a small cafe's kitchen equipment immediately. Peter, Rob and the entire Good Green crew were awesome. Rob came out to ensure they had the right moving equipment. Peter was able to reschedule our move date and answered ALL my questions. On the move day the crew showed up early, ready to work and extremely professional and kind. What seemed to make a stressful, demanding chore of moving easier with Good Green Moving was not fully realized.
The Good: The team was ontime and exhibited a positive attitude thorughout the day. They were not phased by questions, moving item requests, or the amount of 'stuff' to move.
-Nothing was broken, and no home damages
The Bad: A mixup with long-term storage. As the customer I was told Good Green Moving would provide long-term storage. The moving team did not get this notice. Hence no specific tagging was done for items to go into storage

I wish I had paid more attention to the negative reviews, many of which cite Good Green's problems with scheduling and honoring commitments. As others have mentioned, they're super friendly on the phone and give a great impression. Once I did my walkthrough, I was given a verbal quote and told that they'd follow up the next day with something in writing. I had to email two days later to ask for that follow up, and then finally received it. Within a couple hours, I wrote back confirming that I'd go with them. I've never used a moving service but Good Green Moving got stellar reviews, so I booked them. We moved yesterday and they did a fantastic job. The crew was made up of Jake, Jacob and Jorge and they showed up as confirmed and proceeded to work very hard in the sweltering heat. They were conscientious, polite and communicated when they were taking a break, etc. We didn't have anything valuable but they were mindful wrapping up our furniture in moving blankets and making sure everything was loaded up carefully. My fiance was so impressed, he tipped them as a thank you for a job well

I requested a quote from Good Green. They showed up late for the video walkthrough -- not a good start -- and then committed to sending out a quote, noting that there was one slot available on the day in question (a day earlier than we had planned, but, okay...)
Ours is a big move but they said they could handle it.
They sent the quote to the incorrect e-mail address. I called several times to follow up. They did not respond.

We hired Good Green Moving and could not have been happier with their work. While their estimate came out a little bit on the high side, Jonathan was willing to work with us to find a way to accommodate our budget.
The moving experience and their work was top notch. All of the movers showed up early, and knew what needed to be done. They were friendly, had a great positive attitude, and were very careful with our furniture. They deftly assembled/disassembled pieces as needed. "MOVING YOU TO A BETTER FUTURE" Yes they did, in both a personal way and a planetary way. Good Green is Green to the core. They use plastic reusable bins instead of boxes, biodegradable packing materials- everything is geared towards reducing their carbon footprint on our planet and its sustainability. We moved cross country from a 4000 sq ft house and decided to move ourselves. We hired Good Green Moving to pack and load our rental truck. Jonathan did a great job in assessing and addressing all our moving needs. Matthew and his crew couldn't have done a more professional job in packing. They worked nonstop until the job was completed. The next day, Rob and his crew packed a 26 ft truck, a 12 ft trailer and a car carrier for us. They did an amazing job in making sure all of our belongings were protected for the cross country drive. Both crews were enjoyable to work with and extremely hard working
