I've had my hot tub for over a year now and have nothing but good to report - both from the spa and the Hot Tub store. They were very helpful in the selection process and trained a hot tub newbie like me to understand how to maintain my hot tub. I have used it nearly every day to sooth my often achy body recovering from working out, riding or just daily stress. It's expensive and my wife had to talk me into it, but looking back it was one of my best investments into my enjoyment and healing.

I moved to the town of Loomis California in April 2021 and wanted to get a spa for the pool that came with my home since I am not a fan of cold water. Instead of paying thousands of dollars to heat my pool, I decided to get a separate spa instead since I prefer hot boiling spa like water to calm my muscles over a Luke warm pool. I went to a local hot tub store near my home and was immediately greeted by Brandon who had extensive knowledge about hot tubs. What Brandon didn't realize was that I researched a bunch of hot tubs online and outside of the area to make sure I didn't buy something

First impressions they were great. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable and we were excited to get a hot tub. My issue is we were told to have the electrician come out after the hot tub is delivered and this is a huge problem. I ordered a base for my hot tub ( non returnable and from a company other than the hot tub store). We knew our gate would cause problems come delivery so we paid to fix our gate so there would be no issues with delivery. I got the call that my hot tub was ready to be delivered so we called our electrician to give us a quote and thankfully we did or I would be out even more

We recently purchased a Hot Springs tub and couldn't be happier with the tub or the experience with The Hot Tub Store. Ours salesperson Mercedes was great from the start. Always available to answer questions and helped me out with the first start up as well.

This has been an incredibly disappointing experience.
Customer service ended once the $9,000 tub was delivered.
Original sales person did not designate our tub to be configured 230v at the factory and was delivered 120v plug and play. Post sale, there was no follow up call on whether the tub was installed or for that matter, having a pleasant hot tub experience.
We were not provided a list of " authorized " HotSpring Spa technicians to reconfigure the Spa.
My electrician was unable to complete install due to the 230 V conversion caveat.
I have tried to call other locations to try and get information

I am frustrated with customer service and scheduling my spa service/repair. I made several calls to the service department with no response. I had an appointment last Friday and made it clear not only at the time I made the appt, but even called and left a message I was unavailable between 1 - 2:30 that day. Of course the repair technician called and left a message at 1:30 and apparently tried to come at 2. I called him back twice and got VM and called Service dept again with no response. Completely unacceptable. Apparently you don't want my business!!!

I bought my first hot tub from the Hot Tub Store in Vacaville about 15 years ago and enjoyed it very much. After moving to a new house it was time to get a new hot tub. I got the same brand HotSpring a Jersetter for two people. It’s a nicer design and looks great. Everything was well organized the sale, information delivery and installation was so smooth.
I am sure I will enjoy the new hot tub for many years

So we ordered an $18,000 top of the line hot tub with a promised 4 month delivery. 3 months of waiting in, our sales associate, Mercedes, called and made it sound like the order was never placed to the manufacturer and she advised the wait would be another 4-6 months. We said hell no, please refund the $18,000 to my credit card that got charged on day 1. Bought a lovely similar unit for $13,000 from Sonoma Backyard. Came in 2 months as promised. Hot Tub Store asked my review via an email for a review, so here's how it went down for your reading displeasure.

We had trouble with our new salt water system hot tub. A sales person came to our house, checked all levels and made recommendations. We were able to obtain clear, pristine water in our tub by that evening. They even called the next day to check that all was well. Tremendous customer service.

Poor service. Beware of continued delays that they blame on everything but being transparent at the start. Ordered a tub early December with a "late March/early April" delivery. Then it moved to may/June. Now it's July. Absolutely feel like I've been duped. Friends went with another company...ordered 3 months ago and are enjoying their new hot tub delivered and set up in their back yard. I still don't have a date for production. Very disappointing.

I love my Hot Spring Jetsetter spa. I use it twice daily. I enjoy my coffee while soaking in the tub every morning. And in tHe evening, my wife and I have the best conversations in the hot tub. The salt system makes the water soft and silky smooth and is easy to maintain. The strong massaGe jets help with sore muscles after a stressful day of work or after a fun day out exploring.

UPDATE: 4/23/21 - I was contacted same day I wrote the review. They are genuine when it comes to providing stellar customer service and did resolve my issues and water care lesson testing which made initial setup so much easier and idiot-proof. Youtube, google and even the hot tub owner's manual can't show/teach what The Hot Tub Store can show you in less than 20-30 min. Owning a hot tub you will self-maintain is easy and seems future maintenance is a breeze as explained by their employees. Thank you for the much needed follow-up.

Long overdue review. My hot tub purchase and ownership experience. Some of what I base my experience on is past hot tub ownership experience. The prior ownership was less expensive and considerably more enjoyable.
My initial impression of The Hot Tub Store and staff greatly influenced my purchase decision. David and I believe Marsha we extremely knowledgeable, which led to me spending more than anticipated especially compared to other spas types and MFG. I visited 3 different showrooms, spoke to many sales people. I chose to go with the The Hot Tub Store based on many factors, now I am unsure

Brandon was our salesperson Patrick assisted him and Freddy assisted us for our spa orientation for our hot tub. Great job guys! The writing this review because your service center in West Sacramento is always so slow to respond to repair visit. I love the hot tub, but I always have to wait a week or two for a service call. If you are so busy then hire more service technicians.

I appreciated the atmosphere at the store. We were greeted and left alone so we could browse which is my preference. Only when we had questions did Mercedes come over and help us with features and options on the units we were interested in. A great overall purchasing experience. I of course would have been much more appreciative if the delivery was not as prolonged but that appears to be the way things are for many products and not a reflection on the store of course.

Bought a salt water spa and LOVE it!

I splurged and bought a salt water spa. I like them, but have never owned one. I was a little concerned after the shine wore off, I would be like most folks with a rarely used spa.

The spa was made to my exact specifications. The delivery was simple and the set up was fast.

I have lupus, a neurological disorder, and arthritis. I found I use the spa daily and it greatly diminishes my pain and muscle spasms! The salt makes my skin feel great and has helped my rough feet. I have used it at least six times a week since I bought it six months ago.

We purchased a home that had a Hot Springs spa from the 90s that was still working in 2014! We used it for a couple more years and then toyed with the idea of a new one. We checked around, there are cheaper spas, but the quality and energy efficiency of the Hot Spring spas brought us back time and again to the Hot Tub Store In Rocklin. Each time we came in David greeted us and didn't seem to mind that we were back yet again. Finally one day they had a sale and we found our perfect new spa. We love our spa so much and use it almost daily. It is easy to care for and so energy efficient

My review below is for both the West Sacramento store the Rocklin store, but is a result of the incredible service I recently received from Paul out of the West Sacramento store.

Never in my life have I been so pleasantly surprised! I called with a problem that I was almost sure they wouldn't be able to help me with, and my jaw dropped when Paul, without hesitation, told me that he would see what he could do. What he did was to contact one of his manufacturers with my problem, and they agreed to replace the item that I had purchased from The Hot Tub Store nearly 3 years ago. There was never

Service: We bought a hot tub 12 months ago and the spa top leaked. After a heavy rain our tub would fill up. Contacted the service department and they immediately ordered a new one. Today they installed, the team was knowledgeable, polite, and have excellent customer skills.

Hot Tub store has been in business for a very long time in an industry which has dismissed many competitors. So happy to find them offering the Hotspot line of more affordable spa's. Wether calling or stopping by the shop, there was usually more than one person there to assist with questions.

After 21 years with my D1 Spa, it was still running but like an old reliable care. So nice to trade it in for a new Spa. I have enjoyed my Rhythm model Hotspot Spa for a week now, and it is all new and nice again. Todays technology is showing with these moderns spa.

We started our search for a hot tub after the state fair. We had a ton of questions. We went to many stores and talked to many sales people. Our friends were also looking for a hot tub and we exchanged our findings. After a few months of looking we went to the Hot Tub Store and met David Rosas, a complete 180 from our other experience's. He was informative and what we really wanted was the best overall value including the local service. We bought a Jetsetter and we love it.

The experience continued to a perfect install including being early and a staff that was clearly focused on the customer

Great service. Ryan helped us came out to check my spa it had an internal leak so he suggested to use "Marlig fix a leak" chemical what I ordered from Amazon for $25. Problem solved.
I told them over the phone there is no visible leak and since they're the expert could suggest me to use this chemical. I payed 175 for a 10 min visit.
Is it necessary to see a dollar sign to a point the customer feel ripped off?
By the way very pleasant people great conversation good stories etc....

OMG the best experience we ever had at a Hot Tub store. Very professional in every way they provide outstanding service more then just sell u a tub. They delivered as promised, smooth and efficient. David was very informative, I must have called him for advice several times. He return my calls in a timely manner and resolved my questions. The service tech who came to access a problem that we were having with pressure solved it and he was extremely knowledgeable. He put our concerns at ease along with solving the problem. This is our 4th spa from Hot Springs and we couldn't be more pleased with our new spa and the support we received from Marcia. Marcia is thoroughly knowledgeable on her products, but most importantly she is an engageing, professional and caring young lady!

Marcia also recommended Chris as the electrician for hooking up our new spa. Chris is also professional and his work is 1st class and reasonable.

My wife and I are both 78 years of age and we start most days with a Hot Springs spa...What a wonderful way to start the day! We are very blessed and we thank God for every single day on this
