Creators of Total Comfort Mechanical was founded by Robert Trainer, a Master HVAC tradesman. After years in the industry, it became clear to Robert that a contractor could be very successful by following this simple formula: provide quality work at a fair price. It was with this idea that COTC Mechanical began.
At Creators of Total Comfort Mechanical we provide fast and friendly expert heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) services to clients throughout Northern Virginia. This company is amazing! Woke up to a freezing cold house because my heat was not working. Called COTC early in the morning and they were at my house the same day in the late afternoon. The woman who answered the phone was so nice. The guys who fixed my heat were so professional. They took the time to explain everything and answered every question I had. I would highly recommend this company to anyone. I'm so happy to have found them.

Absolutely the best hvac service I have ever had. Called in the morning when my unit was cooling and Robert was able to get me an appt the same day! Mike provided detailed service and explained everything he was looking at to diagnosis my problem. He showed me what he was doing. He was very attentive and thorough, he was talking pics of everything he did and wrote a detail description of diagnosis and what was fixed!! Thank you Mike, great integrity and honesty - didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need.

We purchased a newly renovated home, that Robert and his team had done the HVAC install and build out for - and over the past 4 years, used COTC for maintenance, fixes, warranty needs, etc. Top notch, due to always being responsive, even on weekends and holidays when we had needs. Plus clean, courteous, timely, very fair, and upfront. Plus the work is great, warrantied, and all around provides a piece of mind. Do not hesitate or deal with inferior HVAC experiences any further, COTC is your answer.

I have been working with Robert and COTC for ten years or more now. He responds immediately and I mean immediately any time any day. My ac went out in a hot Labor Day and I called at 5 pm. He was there at 7 and did not leave till he fixed it and he waited till the temp went down to be sure. I could go on and on. He is conscious of cost and offers options when possible. This company is just a different species from all others.

Robert answered my call at 11:30pm last night, assessed the issue over the phone and provided upfront price for the initial diagnostics. Robert and Dan Arrived on time, professional, courteous, knowledgeable and took the time to educate me on my heating issues. They fixed the problem and didn’t try to up sell me on any unnecessary parts or labor. I called Creators of Total Comfort at 3:30pm when my air conditioning stopped working. By 4pm, they had someone at my house. And by 5:30pm, the issue was entirely resolved and my air conditioning was running again. They were friendly, knowledgable, and explained what was happening at every step. The prices were super reasonable and I'm still in awe of how quick they were to help me. I couldn't recommend Creators of Total Comfort more -- I will definitely be using them again!

My AC wasn't running well, they sent a guy out within 3 hours to fix it. It didn't seem too expensive and he was willing to try the cheaper fix first and see if it worked rather than pushing for the expensive solution. Got it fixed quickly and was on his way. I'll definitely call them if I have any more problems.

We recently bought a home in Warrenton. I had some concerns about each of the 2 air handlers in the house. I called and asked for a checkup and said I had some concerns and questions about the systems. Appointment was scheduled for a couple days out.

Quick to respond and was very informative on builder... (leak from hvac to ceiling shouldn't have occurred if our "luxury home builder" built to code). Definitely went above and beyond on a Sunday night before a holiday Monday. Answered my call from his kid's soccer game and came in about an hour. Prices seemed reasonable, and he didn't push final answer knowing we have a case now with the builder. Highly recommend!!

We came home to a hot house on Thursday night before a holiday weekend. We called COTC after seeing the card on our HVAC system which they had replaced a few years before for the previous homeowners. We were pleasantly surprised when we were told that they would be available to come by that same evening within 45 minutes (This was a relief, as we were heading out of town the next morning for 4 days)!

Spoke to the owner and he got me onto the schedule asap with an estimated arrival of around 6-8 pm, which is unheard of on a Friday evening without getting charged a weekend fee. I also asked for my annual service to be done while they were here and it was not a problem, even late on a Friday night.
