My HVAC system gone bad 2 weeks back and we were panicking with cold temps and worried about water pipes breakage due to freezing temperatures. Technician TJ provided us timely response and figured out that the system has gone bad. During these pandemic times nothing is easy, TJ figured out a dealer 60 miles away from my place for the new unit and installed the system by midnight. My heat stopped working and I took a chance by trusting the reviews of others about RC Mechanical. I am SO glad I did! I sent the request for a service estimate and no more than 10 minutes later I got a response from TJ. He gave me the estimate and said he could be at my home by 8am the very next morning. He arrived 10 minutes early, wore the lil shoe booties in my home, was polite and professional and diagnosed and fixed my heat problem in an hour! After being ignored repeatedly by the company that installed by heating system I was referred to RC by Angies List. It was a Saturday afternoon. He called back immediately and said he would be over in a couple of hours or earlier if he could. He did arrive early and took care of the problem quickly.

Within an hour and a half of my "no heat" call, TJ was here at our house in Fairfax. I was ver impressed TJ's honesty and knowledge. He immediately recognized the problem was the furnace was not getting the on signal from the thermostat. He opened the Nest thermostat and found one wire was not firmly seated. He didn't leave until the heat cycled on and off more than once to make sure all was working fine. He did this all for the $59 minimum fee, and said if there was a need to have them return for the same problem, the fee would be waived. We'll definitely call

These guys were lifesavers! My gas furnace broke down while our family was on winter vacation and we ended up walking into a 40F household. I searched until I found T.J. from RC Mechanical who actually answered my phone call at 1:30 AM and let me know that a morning appointment was available.
