There was something wrong with my heating vents - a bad smell that wasn't related to the heater (had that checked) - we were trying not to use the heater but it got so cold and damp we got desperate! Contacted Breathable, they came out within a couple of days. The crew (Carlos, Adolfo and Artemio) was great - friendly and respectful. I got to see pictures of how gross stuff was and how clean it was after they finished. Still had a touch of that first-run-of-the-heater smell, but within minutes it was gone - we can use our heater! Thank goodness, it's been cold since then - thanks Breathable

I've never written a Facebook recommendation before, but Breathable is the greatest! A couple of years ago I had started waking up in the night with my sinuses hurting and began to suspect particulate matter in my heating system. Breathable came over and cleaned my furnace and installed their filter system and my sinus issues cleared up almost overnight. We recently used Breathable's type X service - for a thorough cleaning of heating/AC system's vents and ducts. They provided excellent service - from scheduling to transparent quotation and pricing to the actual job. The technicians wore masks the entire time, laid down floor protection and cleaned the site after the work is done. The actual work is of highest quality. Highly recommend them.

I just had the Type X System reset performed on my new (to me) home, which consists of a thorough duct cleaning and the installation of their proprietary whole house filtration system. I wanted to prepare my home ahead of fire season next year to ensure great indoor air quality for my family, even when its smokey and gross outside. We actually just moved into our home, which is a fixer upper from the 60s, and prior to moving in we had some work done including interior painting and floor refinishing. We just got a new home and had Breathable clean the air ducts. No problem, very professional. But a few weeks later we detected a foul odor every time we turned on the forced air heat. Nir's team came back out and checked ducts for leakage, but none was detected. Then they took a look at the "return" -- the area from which the furnace sucks in air. There were gaps all around this space, which the guys sealed with sheet metal. So far, so good! No stink and finally, no worries.

We moved into a new house that Breathable had been installed in, and did extensive renovations.
We were concerned with the remnant dust because of our newborn, but the breathable heating system cleared everything up pretty effectively - none of the dust was being recirculated.
We're also happy to have reminders from the company to replace the filters.

The Breathable team gets 5+ stars for all around great service. Specifically:
1. Scheduling: I sent a generic request for air-duct cleaning via Yelp to several companies. Breathable was the first to reply and provided a detailed quote with clear pricing. They were not the least expensive but were the most responsive and flexible on scheduling. They also sent a confirmation email, reminder email and text when the Team was 30m from arrival.
2. Day of service: Prompt arrival and communication during service. They took a lot of care to cover all my furniture. I have had this service done several times

Had Breathable come out a few weeks ago to perform a Type X system reset (essentially deep cleaning and installation of a filtration system specifically designed for the bay area). Nir, the owner, was very quick in responding to my numerous inquiries and everything was clear from the start. His team that came in the day of the install was also great - friendly and worked hard and fast. I hadn't run my central heat in some time and could see dust accumulated around the vents. I also needed some ducts repaired. After reaching out to Breathable to understand what my options were, I received back a quick response with details on different options. Once I chose the service - Type X - the Breathable team coordinated an installation time within a week and provided a 3 hour window. Based on the excellent reviews online about Breathable, I decided to go with them for my HVAC cleaning service. And they did not disappoint. The service by the cleaning team was very professional and thorough. They were in and out in about 5 hours (this was a duplex). What was just as amazing was the friendly and quick responses from the front office. Nir and Patricia were in constant communication with me via email to set up the cleaning service despite the fact that it was a weekend. We just moved our new home a little time ago and had our flooring refinished. After that, we realized our air vents and grills went so bad because of the excessive sand and also years of dust accumulated. We called Breathable for a quote, and they responded to us very quickly in a friendly manner.
Right after we decided to work with them, they quickly scheduled a time and their staff came to our place within the time frame they exactly told us.

Great experience! I was very reluctant at first place when I was searching for vent cleaners on google on how the service will be and how reliable they would be.
Working with Breathable was a good experience. They came on time- very professional workers and left without the mess. They cleaned the floor with everything.

From start to finish, I had an excellent experience with Breathable. Nir was very patient and responsive as I asked a bunch of questions, from retrofitting an electronic filter with a media filter, to patching leaky ducts, to options for cleaning some duct with asbestos tape.
When the team came out to do the cleaning and pressure test (additional cost) they were able to isolate the areas that were leaking and replaced the leaky ducts on the same day! As part of this process they even improved the airflow to a room that previously had almost no airflow. This went above and beyond my expectations

Nir and the Breathable team are fantastic. We recently purchased an older home and geez were we glad they came. Some of our vents were shockingly dirty, and now we breathe super clean, fresh air.
