We just had our fireplace installed by RCS Fireplace and they did a wonderful job. Rusty and the crew were honest, professional, reliable, fast, efficient and very easy to work with. We had a horrible leak which went down our chase and ended in our crawlspace - he took care of fixing and replacing it all. They were respectful and understanding with our schedule as we work out of our home due to the pandemic. Rusty and his crew took all the necessary measures for safety (masking, wearing PPE equipment while at our home). Their work speaks for itself, we are very grateful and pleased with their work

This is the second service we've had done by RCS. The service is fine. They showed up for the appointment at the allotted time and did the work. The reason for the two stars is because the employee was wearing a cloth gator as he entered the house and when I asked if they send him into homes with only that he muttered something about wishing he could go without but that they insist that he at least wear this. As I went out to his van to sign off on the bill I noticed the N95 mask hanging in his car. He had proper personal protection equipment but chose not to wear it. I was his fourth

Rusty radiates integrity. Stopped in last week and got so much useful information. He even told me, hey you can fix that problem yourself, so maybe you don't need a new stove--- and told me how to fix it, which worked. We're still shopping products - mostly for a certain look my wife wants, but I would not hesitate to buy from this man if that's what she settles on.

Hi - Rusty installed a gas fire table insert at my home. He did an excellent job. We hired him again to design and install a large outdoor kitchen outfitted with Blaze Professional appliances. It's a joy to cook on these appliances. Rusty custom designed and built a steel cover for the fire-table and a deflector behind the grill because the heat was too hot for the granite backsplash. Rust is very talented, very reliable and his prices are reasonable. I highly recommend RCS.

Ryan, with RCS Fireplace is great! He replaced the fan and cleaned and serviced our gas fireplace insert. It works better now than when it was new. The impressive part is how thoughtful and professional Ryan was. He took the time to place shoe covers on his feet when entering the house, kept everything spotless, and let us know what he was doing and why. I would definitely recommend Ryan and RCS.

Worst experience ever! Please do not enter my home on your own! That was scary for my daughter and startled me! Dirty shoes all on my clean carpet, then goes to my wood burning fireplace and asked how to turn it on!!! Really!! Finally show him the gas one, and he did something...went to leave and said we had to do paperwork now it's all fixed, I asked him to turn it on and then he states it was started and then blew off...LOL sorry guys wasn't even with any time coming out...will never be calling for anything again...lousy experience for something usually every year is simple. RCS responded promptly; sent out a friendly competent tech to determine if our insert worked. He cleaned it, left me a can of stove paint & told me how to touch it up. I then called the shop requesting to buy a remote. Even though they were busy they said that if we had an open window of times when they could come they would fit us in. 2 days later a worker showed up & installed the remote. Later, the gas was turned off & when I called, the person walked

I made an apt almost TWO WEEKS AGO; got nervous when no one showed up at 10am after seeing the reviews, but the service tech came shortly after and made our fireplace look and run like new. Great service, thank you!

Made an appointment that I needed to reschedule. They were kind enough to move it out a few days, only to call me back today and needed to move it out another week. I guess I should have read the other reviews about their poor scheduling habits. I don't play games as this business owner inferred and it took him a long time to respond. Typical of their response time. I had a great experience with Chimcare. They were able to come out before RCS and all the work of as completed to my satisfaction.

Have been a customer for five years and have been very happy with the service and staff. UNTIL now. Called in August and scheduled an appointment for last week. They called a few days before and asked to move the appointment up a day. They did not show up or call. Called several times and could only get an answering machine. No call backs from them. Next day finally reached the owner who said the couldn't come that day either but that he would call back by the end of the day. No call. After three more days left one more message and still no call. Obviously RCS does not care about maintaining

Let me put this in the simplest terms possible. If you schedule an appointment for a service call, and then just do not show up and do not call to reschedule, you are not worthy of anyone's business. This is what occurred after several attempts of just trying to talk to a human at this business to schedule an appointment. Look elsewhere.

Rusty and his helpers have done 2-fireplace installation for us over the years. The first one was a very straightforward installation in all new framing with a roof vent.
Second one was a very tricky installation. We had to install a fireplace into a very old fireplace from the exterior of the house to keep very unusual rockwork. We had to a great finished installation.

Rusty is a great fireplace repair man. In addition to doing an excellent job servicing, cleaning, and repairing our two fireplaces, the one factor I value most is his honesty. He does the work necessary to fix the fireplace and has never overcharged us. One time there was only a temperamental electrical connection and he literally just jostled it to repair it. He could have charged us the full service call amount but decided to be generous about it which I really appreciated. Very good guy.

I was looking for a company or person to service our gas fireplace. The first company I called wasn't able to service our fireplace, because we lived outside of their area of service and recommended RCS Fireplace. I was hesitant to call at first but the first company said RCS does good work at a comparable rate. So I took the chance.

I called them because HomeAdvisor recommended them. Rusty came out twice, said the problem was venting and I needed to buy a new stove. This one has worked for the last 10yrs &will work the next 20 with proper service. He installed a bad part & made the situation worse! Paid him $175 and the next guy only $150 to change out the bad part Rusty installed and actually fix the original problem.
