KABINETT PDX, sister store to KABINETT (Melbourne, AUS), is a vintage furniture and housewares store located in Portland, Oregon. It was born from the mind of a local graphic designer and an Australian interior designer with a shared love of all things old and beautiful. All 2000 square feet of our shop is filled with furniture, textiles, barware, art, and other odd outdoor/indoor goods hand-selected from Europe, Asia, the US, everywhere.
While our hearts and most of of our collection runs toward vintage, we do stock new items as well: handmade rugs, pillows and other textiles, home fragrances, select barware, ceramics, and outdoor furniture.
Trent DeBord and Melissa Macfarlane worked together on a Portland interior design project in 2017 during which they recognized a shared love of ageless pieces; furniture that wears the history of travel and has withstood the tests of time, objects that have been gently (or roughly) worn through continued, loving use.

Do you LOVE wood? KABINETT is the store for you. Envelope your olfactory sense in the aromas of the many one-of-a-kind creations offered at this studio. I coveted most of the items in the shop, while wishing my Visa had unlimited charging privileges. Furniture; exotic, unique, to make a statement. Think of Pier One, World Market, Cargo, only with a twist of originality. Definitely worth a trip to SE. Indulge your senses.

I’ve been here a few times now. Each piece is very unique and comes from different parts of the world. Last time I got a bench from Europe and a fire pit from India. This place houses many unique items that would stand out in any home. The shop owners are very nice and are willing to help with any questions you may have.

I stumbled across this amazing store on my way to Olympic Provisions for brunch one weekend. What an amazing find. KABINETT PDX is a must see destination if you are into vintage & indsutrial furniture along with a huge array of vintage stemware and beautiful textiles. Thoughtfully curated and very stylish.

Our house would have no furniture without this place! OK that’s not completely true but the beautiful things that they import from around the world or get manufactured for them have added so much personality to our place. Also the owners are super friendly and helpful and a delight to hang out and talk with.

Love this vintage furniture/plant store. Parked right out front for the Portland Night Market and ended up enjoying this place more :) They have reasonably priced items and I ended up buying a ceramic planter and stand with a hoya plant for my home! You're greeted by the friendly owner and lots and lots of plants. It's fun browsing the store and he was even offering champagne to the shoppers!

After two days of wandering around giant vintage stores and big box brands, Kabinett was a refreshing find. Trent's beautifully curated selection of antique housewares from India (and elsewhere) was so lovely. I wanted one of everything! We left with a super cool teak antique mirror for our bathroom remodel, some sweet vintage cocktail glasses, and some incense. If you're looking for quality, unique home goods at reasonable prices, stop in to Kabinett!
