Rhodes Hardwood offers upfront pricing as a convenience to our potential customers. Upfront pricing saves both our potential customers time and it saves us from visiting homes of those that might be collecting multiple estimates while only considering cost when comparing them. In addition to offering upfront pricing we also have a convenient estimate calculator here on our site and we offer free estimates via email.
When your wood floors are worn beyond them being sadness refinished, sanding + refinishing is what we recommend. We have the training, experience, and specialized sanding and dust collection equipment to make your old worn out wood flooring look its best. We use high powered vacuum systems for all sanding of wood flooring.
Sandless Renishing (also called buff & recoat) is a hassle free alternative to sanding and renishing solid and engineered wood oors. This process is a maintenance or sprucing up procedure for oors that have not yet worn to the point of needing a full sand & renish. Buff and recoat can be done in just a couple of hours.
In addition to offering oil and waterbased finishes and stains, we also offer custom bespoke wood floors. I can’t say enough good things about Dustin and the work he did on our floors. He took two floors of three different species of wood that had been badly damaged by a previous owner (dog pee stains, several bad gouges from past botched attempts at sanding, deep grooves from dragged furniture), and made it look pristine. Even that wasn’t as impressive as how professional Dustin was through the whole process. We had Rhodes Hardwood sand and refinish the floors throughout our house (living room, dining room, two bedrooms, two closets and a hallway). They did a fantastic job! The floors look incredible! Dustin was great to work with and always prompt to reply to questions. In the 34 years we have been in our house we have worked with many contractors, and many of them were very good, but Dustin was the best. Honest, thoughtful and dependable. From scheduling through completion it was a smooth process. I very highly recommend Rhodes Hardwood.

I loved working with Rhodes Hardwood! If you're looking for a hardwood floor contractor just stop and hire Rhodes! I have had a number of different hardwood floor contractors do work for me and Rhodes hands down is the best. They rescued a botched job from another contractor on our upper level and installed the main floor with rift & quartered… white oak. They then finished both floors with Rubio Monocoat. Dustin and Cody made it easy! I spent countless hours prior to learning about them trying to figure out what the finish was on pictures online so that I could tell the other contractor

I contacted Rhodes after several people recommended them to me and now I know why! They completed a hardwood repair job for me due to water damage. Communication with Dustin was easy and timely via email. On the day of the job they arrived on time which goes a long way! They were professional, hard working, and took their time to ensure the job was done right. It turned out great and they totally cleaned up afterward. I can't say enough about these guys and will definitely use them for future hardwood jobs!

We hired Rhodes Hardwood Floors to install Maple floors in our home in South Minneapolis. They did a wonderful job. The whole process went very smoothly. The guys cleaned up after themselves each day, gave us updates each day, provided several color samples, and the floors look amazing. Would highly recommend Rhodes for your wood floor needs.

My husband and I purchased some Brazilian Teak wood flooring from Rhodes and hired them to install and finish it. We are very happy with the quality of the product they provided and their work installing the floors. The floors look incredible. They were very professional every step of the way.. We hired Rhodes to refinish the floors in the upstairs of our new house -- including two bedrooms that had painted floors -- and we were so happy with the results we brought them back to do the first floor. They were flexible in working around our schedules and even came back (for free) to touch up a spot on the main floor that we had scratched while moving the couch back into its place. I would recommend them to people looking to refinish their hardwood floors.
