Christie's floor sanding started back in 1956 by Don senior, quality workmanship has always been our number one priority when it comes to floor sanding, refinishing floors, replacement of hardwood floors or installation of wood floors. Don's son started floor sanding in 1972, his grandson joined the business in 1991, the 3 generations bring 50 years of experience to each floor refinishing site to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.
While we are not the biggest floor sanding firm, there is no hardwood floor job to big or small, we keep our overhead low to pass the saving on to our customers with every floor job we do. We offer oil based wood floor refinishing products as well as water base, the difference is application time and durability.
Other services we offer are carpet and tile removal, wood floor patching, floor recoating, wood floor staining. We only do what is needed to bring your hardwood floors back to their like new condition customer satisfaction guaranteed.

Don's crew sanded and applied polyurethane to our kitchen floor. Was very responsive to any concerns. Covered all cabinets and doorways to keep the mess to a minimum. Also left fan and open window to diminish fumes and enhance drying process. Happy with the results. Floor looks new again.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience with Don and his team! The floors in our new home were in pretty rough shape, and now they look brand new! Don and Co. were flexible with us as were were working around our painter and our own move-in schedule. They were efficient and did a really incredible job!

Don was on time for appointment/quote and gave me a price on the spot instead of others that never returned calls or took 2 weeks to get me a quote.
Very reasonably priced but absolutely beautiful work.
Our floors were from the 60's and had never been refinished or sanded.
They look brand new. We are so happy with the work.

After seeing the work that Don did on my sisters floors, I knew I had to have him come out and save my floors as well. I didn't know if my floors were able to be rescued, but Don did a great job and they look brand new! I had multiple deep gouges, and Don filled every single one and you wouldn't know they were there anymore. I had many questions for his team and they answered each one and reassured me that the floors would turn out beautifully. This team works extremely hard and truly cares about their quality of work. I highly recommend Don and his team!

Don Christie's Floor Sanding is the place to use. I have a 12' x 10' bedroom with pet stains and no protective coating, and the wonderful workers sanded, buffed and coated it in to a perfect example of hardwood floors! Workers were prompt, considerate, explained their process every step of the way, and cleaned up after themselves.

After buying a house with extremely worn, damaged floors- Don was the third “floor guy” I called- he had no fear of how terrible my floors looked and was reasonably priced! I let him know I had a flexible timeline, and he still finished the job to perfection in a short period of time. Don genuinely cares about the quality of his work and is so knowledgeable in his trade. Would recommend to anyone looking to refinish their floors!

I had a great experience working with Don Christie's Floor Sanding. They were very prompt in providing an estimate and they stayed true to their bid. They arrived on time and were very considerate in helping minimize any mess/dust that came from the project. The end result was awesome, it exceeded all expectations I had. My 100 year old floors look brand new and we couldn't be happier. They were so friendly and easy to work with, I would recommend them to anyone looking to refinish their floors- zero complaints!!

We recently moved to a new house that need the floors redone badly. Don came out to take a look and was very friendly and reasonable. His schedule had opened up so we were able to start the next day. We stayed at the in-laws due to his warnings about the smell and us having a 9 month old, but it was well worth it because they turned out beautifully. He even applied a 3rd coat even though we had only planned on two, and I felt the price was very reasonable. I would recommend to anyone that they should check with Don about getting there floors done. You will not be disappointed.
