We had Buerger Brothers Construction out in early 2020 for a home renovation project (removing a load-bearing wall), and the entire experience went well. Christian's original estimate was extremely detailed, and, as a detail-oriented person, I very much appreciated the information. Whenever something came up during the work (which is bound to happen in any home renovation project), Christian contacted us quicky and explained the issue and possible resolutions. We remodeled 1 bathroom, added a bathroom and did the kitchen, and some significant space reconfiguration to make all this work out. It was a true pleasure to work with Christian, Ron, and the crew! We lived in the house during remodel and they kept it clean every day and made the whole process so easy to live with. Buerger Brothers did a Kitchen remodel for us. We had a load bearing wall removed and a structural support beam added. Christian is a fantastic general contractor. He is so easy to talk to, always even-tempered, exceptionally bright, calm, and fair. He is also super responsive. We worked with Christian and Ron on a project to correct the subfloor and relay flooring in our den. They also placed based board through the entire first floor. Christian was very communicative and upfront on all aspects of the project. The process was stress free and I truly enjoyed working with both of them. Christian and his team remodeled a master bath for me and created a new bathroom out of a hallway. It was a great experience. Once they started there was work on my project every day. No gaps. I can't recommend these guys enough. We had a 70s small master bathroom with an orange vanity countertop and yellow tile shower. When Christian came to give us a quote, he listened to me, gave me suggestions where appropriate, and was honest about what was going to be required to fix the damage done to the bathroom over the last 44 years. Christian provided a detailed estimate, not only did the estimate include details on all of the construction costs, he put in allowances for items that we were responsible for purchasing so we had a pretty good idea what the whole project would cost. Christian was the only company offering fence construction that returned my call at all (and almost instantly). From the day we spoke on the phone about our need for a new fence, he was responsive, helpful and followed through with his promises. He was at my house to give me an estimate the day after we spoke and his estimate was exactly what the final bill stated. He was honest about how busy his team was and set the date for our new fence 6-8 weeks out and gave me 10 days notice to allow us time to prepare the ground around the old fence for demolition.

Buerger Brothers Construction is my go to contracting company here in Denver. They are the whole package you hope for when hiring a contractor: Skill, Problem Solving, High Quality workmanship, Character, Timeliness, Creative input, and...did I say character? I had Buerger do a portion of my fence including a double gate. Christian gave me appropriate information within the quotes and I was able to modify the quote and talk through options (thicker pickets). Pricing was competitive, as I had several other places say they could not go lower.
Z came and performed the work during a snow/rainstorm over the course of 3 days. He was in good spirit the entire time, despite the horrible weather.
After everything dried up, Z came back per my request, and leveled some of the ground near the gate to allow smoother opening.

I had a very small siding job to discuss and he never made me feel like he didn't have the time to get into the nitty gritty details and discuss all aspects including alternatives. We had to interrupt our phone call but he called me back promptly, as promised.

I hired Buerger Brothers Construction to install a fence height extension kit I purchased to keep our dogs from jumping over our split rail fence. They admitted they had never installed a kit like this before but did a great job! The instructions that came with the kit were minimal, but they were able to figure it out without many problems. The attention to detail was great. Communication was always very timely and courteous. I would not hesitate to hire them again.

Christian and his crew did a remodel of our master bathroom and the reconfiguration of our second floor to create a new bedroom. From the start to the finish the work that he and his team did was truly top notch. Christian's quote wasn't the lowest, but it was within the range. Given the complexity of the job and the many unknown variables at the outset, I was amazed at how close we were to that number at the end. I have no doubt that other contractors would have made many adjustments to the price along the way, but a Christian's experience showed as he prepared us for the process

We had to remodel our upstairs bathroom due to a leak and so I contacted Christian at Buerger Brothers who also happens to be an old friend from high school. Together they worked with our insurance company to cover the majority of the cost for the remodel.
