Just walked in to purchase vinyl sheet and the guy looks up from his computer, stares at me, then says hello and goes back to his computer. I stare at him after saying hello and then he asks if he can help but it was not in a nice way and I tell him what I want and he then finally gets up and types on his calculator and then tells me an exhorbatant price and I tell him that seems like a lot compared to online and he says well then buy it online....after noting shipping and so on etc. I left imediately. It was the attitude and borderline rudeness that turned me off.

I have never had such a horrible experience and service in a showroom. I was looking at a specific flooring for several minutes and no one offered help - as they usually do in these places and did in every other place I visited that day. I asked the young man at the counter if they had a flooring "comparable to fir" as I just wanted to see how it might look. He just apathetically waved across the store and said "you can look and see if you see anything." I asked again "can you point me to something that looks like fir." He again told me I could look around - zero

We bought floor tile for our kitchen and I didn’t measure it correctly. My mistake. When I realized my mistake we had the product for one day. The product was unopened. I called the store and was told he would call and see if he could have the items returned. He called back and told us we could not return the product. We then looked online and found the same product for almost half the price at Home Depot. The sales person was extremely nice but we will never do any business with them again and will not recommend.

Highly recommend - had the best experience working with Mike at Linoleum City! He helped us find the best carpet for our needs and budget, let us take home sample boards to see how things looked in different light, and even came out personally to measure on the Sunday of a holiday weekend! The two-person install crew (led by Oscar) was phenomenal and stayed late each day to cut our three-day job into two days due to the upcoming winter storm.
Looking forward to re-carpeting our basement soon and will call Mike when we're ready!

I called to see if I can get an idea or an estimate. I explained to the person answering the phone that I'm not able to come in readily due to work but would like to get an sense or at least an idea of where to start since this would be my first home improvement project and the person's exact words are: "If you can't find the time to come in then it is a waste of time for us." Worst customer service ever. They must not lack customers.

I've been renovation a home that was built in the early 90's on the West Slope. I drive past Home Depot on the way to Linoleum City every time I go to purchase flooring supplies. The reason why is that the folks at Lino City are helpful, educated, well versed in their trade, affordable with a huge selection. I have purchased carpet, linoleum, area rugs and next will be tile for my laundry room upgrade. I've been seeing the same staff the entire time over the last seven years. They have taken care of everything I need and have always been extremely helpful. Check them out.

George at Linoleum City is fantastic. I went to a competitor first a few blocks away, and did not care for their customer service. Linoleum City offered me the same wood floor for cheaper per square foot. I hired a friend who is a general contractor to install my floors, and we had some questions prior to install. George called and talked with the floor manufacturer on more than one occasion to ensure our installation approach was spot on. My house is almost done and it looks beautiful.

I've worked with Linoleum City for almost 3 years as a Project Coordinator at a Property Management Company. Absolutely THE BEST at everything. I work with multiple vendors daily as we have a large portfolio and I've never had a better experience with customer service, product and installs as I have with Linoleum City.

Hire someone who knows how to provide excellent customer service! Emblematic of why these types of places are giving way to Home Depot, I called and asked some questions and was not treated like a welcome customer. I thought if I went in person I might have more luck. Unfortunately, since I'm not an interior designer and have never purchased flooring before, I needed assistance. I was treated like a spouse in a bad marriage. Two word answers and vague pointing was the most I got. This place is probably great for people who know exactly what they want and know something about flooring, but

When I purchased marmoleum from this store I simply brought in the dimensions of the rooms I was using it for and they calculated the amount I needed. When I was done laying the floors I had a 9 ft x6.7 ft piece of unused marmoleum. I attempted to return this but was told it was not in adequate condition due to one end having one crack in it.
They miscalculated the amount I needed and then refused to work with me to take the excess back.
I would never use this store again and suggest you triple check their measurements, as they may be inaccurate.

I sadly found myself in the market for linoleum recently. A place called Linoleum City seemed the logical solution. I was not enthused, but the 10+ year old CARPET in our bathroom was finally just too gross to continue to walk on in bare feet, and the tile project that I have envisioned is still a financial hurdle or twelve away, so we needed a stop gap solution that would be easy to install and equally easy to rip out when we were ready to build Danni's Dream Bathroom.

We were concerned about the tile getting scratched (we have a very active/crazy cat), and when I visited the store specifically to ask about this concern, the person I spoke with said, "Well... they're commercial tiles, the kind they put in supermarkets, so..." Okiedokie...
