I know good contractors are swamped now, so I was so very pleased when Jon responded to my call right away and was able to fit me in. We coordinated with him to have our hot tub hard wired upon delivery. He came days before the delivery date, on time, to see what the situation was and what all he might need, gave a fair estimate, spelled out possible reasons it might be more, and explained everything in terms I understood. He returned the day of delivery to get things rolling before the hot tub was delivered and kept me appraised of his progress, including the snag that he warned me could happen

If you want something done right, the first time, call Jon @ WSDB. We first used WSDB almost 3 years ago, to put internal stairs into our basement. Our home was built in 1920, so you had to go outside to access the unfinished basement. Adding the stairs seemed tricky (to us), but was essential to getting us closer to being able to finish our basement and double our usable living space. We were in discussions with another designer and contractor for awhile, but the cost was ballooning, and quite frankly, they seemed like they were in over their heads. I couldn't be more pleased with the work that WSDB did for us. We were selling a home and the inspection report called out a major item -- wood rot on south side of home, under vinyl siding due to improper flashing. The realtor networked with her colleagues and came up with WSDB. Jon Morin (owner) promptly bid on the job and began work as scheduled, two weeks before our deadline. Initial removal of siding and sheeting revealed more extensive wood rot down to the rim joists and framing elements, escalating the project significantly. I had West Seattle Design Build meet me for a review of a cabinet and bookshelf system I wanted to have built in my wall of our living room. I was impressed by many factors. First of all, Jon was ON TIME which as many people know is rare for contractors. Jon spent a ton of time BRAINSTORMING different ideas with me for the bookshelf unit and we even spent time talking about re-doing the kitchen cabinets in our house. I was very impressed with his KNOWLEDGE, the time he spent and his eye for DETAILS. I could tell from talking to him and seeing photos of work that he had done that he has TONS
