David Humphrey, the Founder and President of Humphrey Rosal Architects, has almost thirty years of local architectural and construction experience, relocating to Naples from Columbus, Ohio in 1979. He is a graduate of the School of Architecture at Ohio State University and completed his post graduate studies at the School of Architecture and Environmental Design at Kent State University.
Humphrey joined the firm of Robert E. Forsythe Architect in 1979 and became a partner in the firm of Forsythe, Humphrey and Associates in 1984. As head designer for the firm for eight years, he completed a diverse array of projects ranging in building type and scale.
He has designed office complexes, health care facilities, banks, retail malls and shopping centers, restaurants, country clubs, hotels, schools, condominiums, churches and single family homes.One his last projects as a partner in that firm was the Naples Philharmonic.
